Wow. Could not have imagined how bad it was. Service was almost non existent. I took my boys as menu was ok (burger, fries, chicken). On that day they went with limited menu and no burger or chicken was on menu. Fish was pretty greasy (even after decreasing w napkins). And the fries (chips) were real bad. A few were fine but at least 1/2 were greasy and floppy. Staff seemed almost annoyed we were there. They were gluten free which was about the only good thing there. Beef stew was good, but that was it. (Friend got bangers and mash and said it was bad too. Yes, I know British food is more bland than ours, but theae guys didn't try. Never going back

First time there, we are from out of town, and our friends treated us. The cashier taking our order was patient. Salads were delivered quickly. Pizza quickly too. We had 2 Mediterranean and the gluten-free one was the better of the two. I did not care for the way the pizza was cut - not like a pie - and it creates weird sized slices. It really required a fork to eat. Good flavor & nice combo of toppings on this pizza. Non GF crust was kinda soggy. Loud. Nice decor. Patio looked nice and had a good crowd even though it was mid nineties.

We sat outside on a chilly morning because we were traveling with a dog. There are heaters. The staff was fantastic. I had gluten-free avocado toast. The BEST avocado toast I have ever had! Excellent, delicious coffee, too!

PROs: Ambience is classy and comfy. Very friendly and professional. Speciality coffees available; basic & simple coffee bar; enjoyed the old school music playing in the background. The whole staff appeared happy and were attentive to all patrons needs. Alex (our waiter) was professional and attentive. Order at the register. Food is served to your table. Under $50(with tip) we had Steak & eggs; Texas breakfast, cappuccino & coffee. CONs: The steak cooked to order but was dry. The 'corn tortilla' was a flour & corn mix (my fault for being too eager & hungry, I ended up later with gluten reaction). Our visit was before the lunch hour; the dining area wall had food/drink splatters and the woman's bathroom floors were sticky and had a strong urine smell. Overall experience was pleasant and I look forward to the next visit to try the gelato and maybe a drink ;-). Thank you Black Walnut!
