They have gluten free buns for hot dogs and burgers. Their fries are gluten free cooked in a dedicated fryer. The staff understands gluten free options and they are so friendly. It was a great expierence i will definitely go back best hot dog ive ever eaten and i got the fries which are hand cut delicious.
Amazing food, great service, and many gluten free options (pasta, pizza, etc.) The waitstaff was very knowledgeable on allergies and celiac disease and made sure to accommodate everyone. Plus, the food was absolutely amazing.
Cute place, awesome server, killer food. Tons of different vegan or gluten free options. Waits for brunch are insane, so we got there early. Worth it! The hash browns done in hot sauce are killer, the French toast casserole is amazing, and the care they take for a customer with severe food allergies was unparalleled. You made 4 customers for life- well done! With a killer belini and mimosa to boot. Unreal in the best possible way!
The pizzas can be made gluten free and are delicious!! However, there may be cross contamination. The salad was phenomenal. The atmosphere is really great too! They have a huge outdoor patio that looks fun for hanging out in the summer time.
It was OK. I have to eat gluten free and although I am appreciative of the gluten free options, the pizza dough was very doughy and almost undercooked and thick. The gluten free fingers were ok, but had to use lots of dipping as u could taste the dough they use. Nice place and I'm not sure about the non gluten free options.
They got us seated right away. Excellent server who helped accommodate some requests. (We asked if mocktail versions of a couple cocktails were possible. We came during a quieter time, so they were able to accommodate us - I imagine that would be harder to do at a busier time.) The (Neat and Classic) burgers were very good. One of us needed to order the non-dairy (vegan) cheese and gluten-free bun, so it was awesome that both substitutions were available (and tasty!). I'd also recommend the crispy brussels sprout appetizer and the gluten free cheesecake!

One of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. They can pretty much make anything gluten-free. Although everything is great, the lobster mac & cheese is not always consistent. Lately the cheese & cream has been Overkill. It used to have a perfect ratio of pasta, cheese and lobster.. The last time I dined there I got two tiny pieces of lobster.. they should have a certain amount that they put into each dish automatically I guess. The french fries are perfectly crispy and delicious along with the mussels, stuffed mushrooms and just about everything else I tried. More importantly, the atmosphere is a long time favorite and so nostalgic as I grew up in the city and have known this place my whole life. The tall bartender with the buzz cut and black glasses makes some of the best cocktails in WNY and not to mention is one of the nicest bartenders, always friendly and accommodating. I always make it a point to sit on that side of the bar lol
I love that they offer gluten free buns and they are careful to not cross-contaminate food. The staff is always friendly and you can't beat the charcoal grilled taste.
Food was good, wings were great. Have to stop for Buffalo wings in Buffalo. Their spicy options are pretty good, hot and hot parmesan are quite tasty. Their fryer for chicken wings is gluten free, however their fries are not. They served the sandwich with chips, which were not very fresh and I am positive were ruffles. It was nice of them to split the wings order into two flavours.
Food is fine, not stellar but definitely but not bad. Average hipster-level diner food, which is fine in my book. Very VERY few gluten-free options. The best part is the venue itself. A cute little old diner car with really cool wallpaper and authentic booths, etc. The worst part- the server dudebro who is bordering on disrespectful- just strangely blunt. This was the 3rd time we went and his weirdness has been consistent. I don’t like complaining about service usually, I know people need work and being in the service industry isn’t making wait staff wealthy, but it’s like this dude has no self awareness. It detracts from the experience.
I was delighted by the number of gluten-free options, as eating out is usually very challenging with my allergies. Our server was super attentive and everything tasted fantastic. Will definitely be back!
The hot dog 🌭was one of the best I've tasted. BONUS-their gluten free bun was just like tasting a normal bun. However, I wasn't a fan of their chili sauce, it seemed old (sitting around awhile) and not what I expected (fresh homemade chili)
We’re visiting town and chose this place based on the multiple, creative vegetarian and gluten-free menu options. I’m GF and my mom is vegetarian. I was very happy they had a mock-tail to offer as well. I’m so happy we came here the food was absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced and a relaxed atmosphere.
Such a lovely little place! If you’re veggie or vegan definitely try this restaurant! We loved the Buffalo wings, the plantains and the lettuce wrap. The service was amazing and the cook guided us through gluten free options of their menu! We really loved and are planning on coming back :)
Always been a fan of the Chippewa location. This one is just as great and includes parking. Perfect chill place. Great coffee. Mike's sandwich on gluten free Kaiser was amazing. Regular bread for grilled cheese and BLT was a little dry which was surprising. Other then that it was perfect.
Innovative flavor combinations, love the Spanish influence in some of the dishes but with fresh seasonal ingredients. Cocktails are on point. Got the masa paccheri with nduja and peach, not sure if it's gluten free but wow, amazing texture and flavors. The pork belly also melts apart, it's so soft and flavorful. Would come back again 100%
They are good here. I have to eat gluten free which is hard in places like this. They don't have gf bread or pancakes like IHOP. They had turkey bacon which I appreciate being allergic to pork and the Waitress was super sweet and knew gf and said the hashbrowns were ok and the bacon was listed Gf. They gave me fruit instead of bread. It worked.
Four of us ate here, partly because my friend and I don't often get the chance to eat Japanese food and partly because our friends had had it recommended to them for its excellent gluten-free provision. Our experience was entirely positive. Our friends both had a fine bowl of ramen each while my friend and I enjoyed starters (lovely thinly-sliced squid for me) followed by mains (a large selection of fresh, delicious sashimi for me, a similar platter of sushi for her). Absolutely great. The staff were also very good. We had a nice young woman who was friendly and helpful (especially with my gluten-free requirements, about which she was knowledgeable).
Very much a locals spot.
For gluten-free diners, please know there are multiple safe options, including gf wings. However, the gf pizza crust is cauliflower, so if you cannot tolerate this, like me, please order accordingly. The menu does not specify.
The Server was very sweet but the food.. The gluten-free pizza was Horrible. I couldn’t even finish 1 slice, also Cost me $30! Was not worth it. I didnt want to make a fuss about it since I had my son with me,so I just sucked it up didn’t say anything. The normal pizza was fine just pizza nothing special.
Lovely, quiet coffeehouse with excellent atmosphere. Coffee was good, latte was great, but the gluten free waffle was inedible. I originally thought the dough hadn't been mixed enough, but when I complained I was told "that must be the sugar cubes." I've had liege waffles before and typically the sugar chunks are much smaller, not the size of a pea. And normally sugar is sweet. It's a shame because the toppings on my waffle were great and it's so good to see gluten free options. I just don't think the sugar chunks work with the gluten free mix they use.
Love this place! Wait staff is always friendly, food is fresh, high quality and well prepared. Prices reasonable. Great place for breakfast or brunch! Gluten free options that are delicious!
I loved Chipotle for its amazing flavors and my ability to create a gluten free meal that keeps me full. Then I watched the Chipotle documentary on Netflix, and I loved Chipotle even more for their business practices. Then Monique started managing the Mile Strip Chipotle, and they should probably just take my paycheck directly. It would be faster and easier on all of us. That's where it's all going anyway.
This place is excellent! I'm so appreciative of any place serving a vegan style of pizza, since pizza is the one food I miss the most since going vegan. Their vegan pizza (I had it on gluten free crust) is so flavorful and delicious- the sauce is amazing!! My friend had the mushroom pizza and she said it was really good too. I also had the Italian salad which they could make vegan as well, and that was great too. The interior is so cozy and the owners are very nice. I highly recommend this place!
The gluten-free pizza was very good. The crust was the thinner type so I'm not sure they make it but it was actually very tasty. It wasn't a thick fluffy pan pizza Detroit style crust but it did taste very good. My partner got regular pizza and he loved it. I like their sauce it wasn't too sweet but it still had some sweetness. The wings or meaty. We got extra sauce and it definitely was very saucy what you really like. Definitely will be going back! The only sad thing I am one of those weirdos who likes ham pineapple and mild pepper rings on my pizza. They don't have pineapple and mild pepper rings.
UPDATE: 2.2.2024
Final visit. Ordered corned beef sub, dry, was going to put my own condiments on the sub when I got to my destination. The corned beef was extremely dry from numerous reheatings. But the disgusting part was the hunk of fat that rimmed the piece of corned beef. It was gross. The sub roll was the only decent part of it. Not Recommended at all! Ps: I feel slightly bad because they say part of the proceeds are donated to firemen's organizations. But business is business and your product has to be up to standards.
UPDATE: picked up a Chicken Chipotle medium, gluten free sub with thousand island dressing today.. did not order on line. Went into the store. Placed my order (extra cost for gluten roll), total for medium was $9.00 plus some change. It was tasty and still warm when I brought it home. However medium looked like small to me. The wait time went quickly and the staff was polite and friendly...besides the sizing of the medium sub roll, it was a good experience and I intend to return. Much better than my first visit a couple years back. I am starting to believe a customer should give an eatery at least 2 times, more like 3 if the prior visits were split for good and bad before writing it off.. Glad I went back.
WOW.... what a huge disappointment.. ordered a “make your own sub”, medium with chicken breast (don’t believe the breast description) on wheat (it was either dry or half toasted ). I will opt for toasted, give them the benefit of the doubt, they surethink need it, even though they didn’t ask if that is what I wanted. I didn’t see them make it and it was delivered as a take out where I waited. I got it home and the bag was soaked through with a miniscule amount of the vinegar and oil I ordered. I opened the sub and chicken breast that I ordered was chopped chicken that you would use in a salad and a ton and I mean a ton of iceberg lettuce. I ordered extra tomatoes and what I received was 4 thin slices and possibly 4 black olives slices and very few, again chopped peppers and cucumber (2 slices). I couldn’t pick it up. The chopped chicken and peppers wouldn’t stay in the bun. When the order taker said the price was 6.85. I said that is an inexpensive sub. She looked at me as if I caught her with her hand in the cookie jar. Must have known they cheaped out on the “make your own subs”. Subway has better subs or better yet patronize Wegman’s where you get your monies worth. Don’t waste your money or time. Awful!!!
This place is so wonderful, such delicious food that features local farm raised proteins. I have celiac and I've never had an issue with the gf prepared tacos. The mushroom is my fave! The staff are always lovely, even when they are slammed. The only issue is that sometimes because they are so popular it can get crowded and loud, that said it is a wonderful option that I wholeheartedly support.
Speedy service. Fresh ingredients. Fair prices. The most comprehensive gluten free, vegetarian, vegan menu that I’ve ever seen at any quick-service restaurant.
The menu is marked with gluten free options. The staff are knowledgeable about gluten free options and are are helpful to answer any questions. The restaurant has an upscale vibe with a really nice atmosphere! However, be prepared to pay big bucks as the dishes are pricy.
