As someone with Celiac, it's hard to find a GOOD place to eat where the staff is also kind to you and doesn't treat you like an inconvenience because of Celiac. I tried the Charred Burger Bar in Omaha today and will definitely be back! The waygu beef was 10/10 but I was just very impressed by the GF bun that didn't fall apart immediately, and wasn't gritty, as well as the fact that they have a separate fryer for fries + GF friendly oil. The server also had a list of celiac safe dips and sauces! Win win.
I'm very disappointed that they got in a new batter of some sort that's super light and not very battery. Being gluten free I enjoyed that crunchy thickness and now it's just kind of a mushy cornmeal whatever on the outside that's not anywhere near where it was. Hopefully it'll change back. You really felt almost like it was out of a bag instead of their old homemade feeling thick and crunchy.
Outdoor dining with our service animal who was loved and welcomed enthusiastically by the staff. Met some friends for dinner on the patio, and really enjoyed our visit to Lazlo's! 5/5 would recommend
Gluten free menu avaliable, with many selections. The salmon was outstanding, and the natural hickory smoke that fills the air leaves its mark on the flavorful salmon.
Food was Great! Husband had steak that was cooked to perfection. I had the Honey Garlic Chicken. Protocols for Celiac/Gluten Free safety were pretty good. No symptoms. Just wish they had more dessert choices for gluten free besides ice cream.
They have things labeled as gluten free that are not. I have been sick for the last 12 hrs due to celiac disease. Celiac disease people beware, it was absolutely delicious but they gaslight you on the phone when you let them know that they gave you gluten and made you sick so that they don't get sued I guess. I had let my server know I have celiac. Very disappointing and I'm currently very sick from it
I love taking the family to Roja. There's tons of gluten free options for the celiac in my family. Their happy hour is great as well. For the prices you pay our bellies are happily filled.
Just got into town from California and the food is amazing. All dressings and sauces are so good. Pizza was good but a little on the thin side. Nice that they have gluten free. Well worth coming.
Actually go inside and order yourself and eat there!! That is the best way to enjoy a burrito bowl! If you're not gluten-free and getting an Actual wrapped burrito, then ordering to go is good! I like to see how much and what they add to my bowls, I like hot stuff to be hot and cold to be cold....when it's to go it will all get hot, then barely warm when you eat it....just the way that type of food is! Customer Service is always good and very accommodating! And YES guacamole is Extra! 🤣 Get it!!!! 😋
Excellent Italian food. Wide variety of gluten-free options. Attentive staff. It can be a bit too noisy in their small, wide open space to have an intimate conversation.
This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast. I am gluten-free, and they offer a gf toast, but I have found that I can also do well with their regular sourdough toast from Le Quartier. The owners and the baristas are very friendly. Give it a try, I think you will love it too!
Used to be an excellent place to eat. Ordered a loaded baked potato. They no longer put butter on them, they give you small packets of vegan butter. Not using real butter isn't as good. If you get meat on it, they have reduced the amount of meat they use. They also no longer add green onions on top. It was only half as "loaded" as this menu item used to be. BBQ sauces are good and gluten free. Meats are always good though. The other locations in our area have closed and I suspect this location will too given the changes from the last time I was here and this visit. Also the potato casserole was super salty and not nearly as good as previous visits. Disappointing.
I've been to Dante twice now and each experience has been wonderful. They not only have amazing food, but they have gluten free options available for both pizza and pasta. I've tried two of the GF pasta options and both have been great! My husband raves about the pizza. We're already looking forward to going back and next time I'm going to try the cauliflower crust pizza.

This is one of my favorite go to restaurants! The people here are always nice and quick to provide service. They not only have gluten free options, but an easily accessible way to access the gluten free menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.
They have gluten free pizza and it's good so that is a win! We got a table for 5 right away and our server was excellent! If you are a sports fan this is a great place to watch.
I hope the owners and managers are reading this review ONLY BECAUSE I had an encounter with a young man named Madigan at this location who after I had stated I had celiac disease Gave me ALL the options for what was safe for me. HE WAS EVEN WILLING TO GO READ THE LABELS ON THE BOXES TO MAKE SURE IT WAS SAFE FOR ME. After bawling my eyes out all day over what I can and can't eat he really stepped up and changed my whole day. HE EVEN USED MULTIPLE LITTLE CUPS TO GET MY INGREDIENTS FOR FEAR OF CROSS CONTAMINATION AND I WASNT EVEN WORRIED. BUT MADIGAN WAS. I never leave reviews. But this young man needs a raise. He really showed he takes caution with people's food and making sure they enjoy the experience. Thank you Madigan.
stinks that they only have one noodle option for gluten-free, but at least it's a really good gf noodle! absolutely adored our waitress who went out of her way to get me a gf appetizer when I couldn't have the bread.
Esther was super helpful in the drive through 9-6-23 around 6:30 we messed up ordering and she corrected the food allergy issue and actually caught it for us when we ordered the wrong sandwich. Without Esther catching it I would have been without dinner or gotten sick from eating gluten. Thank you Esther for being kind and going above and beyond helping us. Thank you. Order number 3023
Happy #ThankYouThursday to Pacific Eating House!
I have a lot of great things to say about this place - but honestly I think the pictures do a pretty great job themselves. The North Shore Fries are not only beautiful, and picturesque - but delicious as well. Any time I return, these will 100% be ordered, and consumed.
Our visit to PEH was pleasant and flavorful. We sat at the bar, as they were pretty busy the night we visited - and despite the drinks that were flying off the shelves we were still treated well and our service was very prompt. They even offered to make me a dish what was no longer offered on the menu - that I saw posted in one of their reviews and was attracted to.
The menu is diverse and offers both seafood, and land-based animal food options as well as a healthy array of gluten-free and vegan foods!
Thank you guys for providing amazing service, and delicious foods. I can't want to return!
This *WAS* one of my husband's favorite places to eat. We went to the West Omaha location today. Our last visit was not great but we wanted to try again. We were seated quickly. The server was ok but I really felt like we were more of a bother to her. Due to allergies issues I asked for a gluten free menu which the server was very willing to get and checked a couple items for ingredients which is necessary but much appreciated. We ordered some cocktails during the happy hour time frame. I really wanted the siracha bacon in the bloody Mary cocktail but apparently the bar was unwilling to provide that which was unfortunate. We had to ask for the upcharge to be removed from our bill as it was still on there.
My husband's favorite dish (which he raves over) is the Sharon enchiladas so we both got them, I just had mine made with corn tortillas. Honestly, I was very unimpressed. The chicken was not even seasoned, it even needed salt, it was a bit dry and no sauce inside. My husband didn't think it was done right. I can bake tender chicken shred it, wrap it in a tortilla and top with pepperjack. I promise I can do far better at home because I would ensure the flavor and sauce was on point. What's the point in eating out if it doesn't wow me. I'm a good cook; this was bland and lazy, surely they use to have better quality in the past for my husband to have raved previously. We definately got the impression that we and the other 2 tables were intruding on the loud abnoxious party the employees seemed to be having at the bar. We didn't feel like guests, we felt like intruders to a private employee party. They were so loud and it was like we were a burden or an annoyance to them. I guess they "loudly" care more about woke gender politics than guests.
Additionally, when someone has an allergy to something and therefore can not have a certain side, the restaurant should give more than 1 option and not be unwilling to accommodate. In this case the only option I was allowed was beans. Do better please.
Side note: this is the second time we have had bad service here. Hopefully the downtown location cares about their patrons or you may not have many soon.
P.S. If a manager comes on and dismisses things like I've seen done to other guest's reviews, then don't be surprised when you no longer have a business. Take the feedback seriously, better yet, let's get Gordon Ramsey's opinion!!!
I go to Zen every Saturday on my morning errands. It's always busy but well worth the wait. The coffee is great, they have specialty toast (even gluten free options), and lots of pastries (also gluten free options)!
I had the most delicious scallops. It’s expensive, but the service is great and they know the answer to all the questions. They were very clear about which foods contained gluten and all my food was delicious! My husband loved it, too!
I asked about gluten free options due a food allergy and was immediately greeted by the manager (owner maybe?) and given the complete run down of everything I could have. Excellent service from all the staff, and the food was delicious and excellently presented. Will be going back!
My initial review wasn't going to be good, but the owner, Christopher, has changed my opinion of his second location. He was very open with us, listened to us, & collaborated with us. We absolutely Love the original Good Lookin on Underwood & decided to try this New location that is closer to home! This location was not up to the standard of his original place. Needs improvement to the customer service experience. We had fairly good food, good coffee, & orange juice, but quality wasn't as good as our unbelievable awesome yummy goodness in Dundee. Read my original review of the Dundee location and you will understand. This location has 1 coffee station, and we felt in the way as we tried to prepare our coffee. we asked why we received 2 paper cups and not a regular coffee cup, first response was "oh they leak so we give 2" next person response was "the mugs are for cappuccino's, I can't give everyone a mug, we don't have enough" we struggled getting creamers open. I almost hate to even review our experience because after talking to the owner, we felt he was very genuine, compassionate, & empathetic to our experience. He made the difference on us wanting to return to this location again. I ate the Good Lookin Bowl again, and the only difference i didn't care for was that the sweet potatoes were big chunks, and some were hard. Otherwise, the flavor was there! Hubby got Double Standard and he didn't like the sausage at all, dry & unusual flavor. But you decide if it's your taste, it wasn't his. You must try this place for yourself, I recommend the original location, but either one is worth a visit. They have gluten-free options that are noted on the menu. You order and then get your own coffee, utensils, & water....it's a different way for this atmosphere and service is rough on the edges, but with some time we hope the service is up to pare as the Dundee location! *Tried another visit today(1-25-25)...food was good, still ike the dundee location more. Had to wait for table, then asked if we could move together 2 smaller tables to accommodate us. Fruit cup was not fresh but the rest was good food. You must try for yourself!
Food was fair.Ordered gluten free pizza ,came with sausage which I did not order, ordered a salad ,no tomatoes came with tomatoes .Talked to server answer was short on help.Felt like we were putting her out ,asking to explain food problem. She very quickly dropped the check.Real style .Don't think many customers will be back after all this.I won't be. -5☆s
Went to Early Bird for brunch today. There was around a 20-25 minute wait for a table, which seemed a bit odd given it was around noon on a Thursday. We ordered our food and a drink each, and our food came out before our drinks did. That being said, everything tasted delicious and was cooked well.
I have a gluten allergy (celiac) and ordered the bacon flight. I asked our server if I could sub the toast out for anything else, and he suggested a GF waffle, and told me there'd be an upcharge for it. I said that was fine, and to go ahead. I was not expecting a $9 upcharge on an $18 entree. I'm hoping that it was just rang in wrong, but at that price level, that's a completely separate item, not just a substitution.
Hopefully it's just a fluke, but it's one that will likely keep me away from Early Bird for a few months at the least
*New Place* atmosphere was Sharp, unique, & spectacular lighting! I'm not one for dim lit restaurants where I can't see my food or read the menu without turning my phone light on! All the different lights were really cool! I also don't ever order fajitas at Mexican restaurants, but I got the steak with housemade corn tortillas and they were absolutely scrumptious 😋! We also got shrimp (spouse got flour tortillas) and shared the meats, was very tasty! We ordered an appetizer queso and we got complimentary homemade chips & salsa! Our server, Madeline was attentive and always confirmed my dishes were gluten-free with their chief. Restaurant has only been open a bit over a month, very clean, tidy, and welcoming! We will be back to try different items as so many looked good! Highly recommend this place!
A very unique thin crust pizza where the topping lays over the cheese. It is delicious and addicting! Gluten free crust is unbelievably yummy!! Perfect family venue!
Everything was really good from the hamburger which I thought tasted pretty amazing for a chain restaurant…plus you get a generous portion of frix. The chicken sandwich was devoured by the kids. The frix were tasty a tad greasy on the waffle fries but all in all a decent meal. It was also nice to see a gluten free bun option! The only complaint obviously is the price…basically around $15+ for a meal. Sad but it’s unfortunately the world we now occupy.
