Wonderful cafe with the sweetest staff and tasty gluten free doughnuts, wraps, and THE BEST bacon. As locals we frequent this place -- they take extra care to appreciate every customer. Highly recommend.
Delicious food with great options for vegan and gluten free folks! Not only was the food amazing, but our waitress Kari was absolutely amazing!! she took such good care of our party and made it a night to remember 🩷
I'm Gluten free, so when I saw they had a GF menu I was very excited! What I received when I ordered left a lot to be desired. The staff was very accommodating and replaced my meal with a sushi salmon roll wich was good.
Our favorite pizza place!! Billy bricks is so good, and they are one of the only allergen-friendly pizza places in the area. They have dairy-free cheese and gluten-free crusts. We love the bbq chicken pizza with dairy free cheese, but you really can’t go wrong with any of their speciality pizzas. Pizzas are always hot and ready right on time for pickup.
Some of the best food I have ever had. I have to eat gluten free, which means food typically is terrible. Syrup has the BEST gluten free pancakes I have had. I nearly gave up trying many places around the area. Syrup is a wee bit of a hike for me, however, it is the highlight of my month as I reward myself once a month to this amazing place. My whole family loves it, the price isn't too bad considering the HUGE portions of delicious pancakes. My wife says the skillets are just perfect too, and my toddler also loves the pancakes.
Loved this place. Food was amazing. Service friendly. Naan was the best ever. I can't have gluten but this was worth it!! Will be back when I'm in the area. Just wish it was closer.
Place is outstanding. Straight up 🔥
The menu is outstanding.
And the hot sake, yes please, get that..every time.
Very beautiful restaurant and bar. Very well done and our service was so good. Had an excellent time here.
Had some drinks, had some plates to share. Had some more drinks. It was just an easy place to hang out and try interesting, beautifully made food.
Gluten-free friendly too. A huge + for me
To be fair:
The veggie fried rice was meh
The fuki roll was pretty good
And I've had better martinis
But for me Moto imōto hot hit on the "how" not the "what.". It's probably never going to be nominated for a James Bears Award but I still loved how it made me feel. And for that, I will go back every time. It's a pretty place to eat and we had a good time here.
For that, 10/10 recommend
Top tier experience. It's more than just pictures, it's the real deal. It's better in real life.
Walked in on a Tuesday, early hour with my date and we both have nothing but good things to say.
The first impression was booming. It's a beautiful space. So beautifully decorated and thoughtfully put together.
Kaylie our server and the bartender was great. Service was prompt and professional. Everyone had a smile and friendly attitude.
The food was 🎉
Lots of gluten-free options, which for me a huge plus. They have a whole gluten-free menu, that's nice to take out the guess work.
Protip: Get the Seven Spicy Tuna of toasted rice or whatever it's technically called. (I'm close enough) lol. So good 🤤🤤🤤
Great experience.

Maple Leaf Coffee House is a cozy, welcoming spot that feels like a hidden gem along the Fox River. The coffee is top-notch — roasted in small batches by the owners themselves — and you can really taste the care in every cup. I had their Hartford Espresso Blend, and it was smooth, bold, and just the right kind of pick-me-up. The café also offers a thoughtful menu with organic, vegan, and gluten-free options, making it easy to find something delicious for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.
Sunday June 18, 2023 Father’s Day
My son made a 6 pm reservation for my wife, i and him to celebrate Father’s Day. It was the first time at La Za Za for us. We checked in at 5:50 and were immediately seated at an outdoor table. Lisa our server was at our table within 1 minute of being seated to take our drink orders. Since we were having wine with dinner, we all had sparkling water. We were going to have a gluten free pizza as an appetizer, but Lisa promptly returned and told us that us that was not available. She made a couple of recommendations and we selected the Melanzine Griglia, egg plant stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella & parmigiana cheeses and topped with a tomato basil sauce and mozzarella cheese. I can no longer say I don’t like egg plant, it was fantastic! There was also a bread basket with a bowl of salsa for dipping.
We all ordered a glass of Justin Cabernet wine that Lisa recommended and it was quite nice.
For entrees my wife ordered the 8 oz Filet with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed vegetables. Lisa expertly described the options for how well done the Filet could be cooked. My wife choose medium well and it was cooked exactly as she wanted. My son ordered the 16 oz Ribeye special, also with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed vegetables. I ordered the Vitello Sassi, pan roasted veal with sautéed mushrooms, artichoke hearts & garlic in a light brandy sauce with a side of linguini. All of these ingredients blended together perfectly. I am a big fan of artichoke hearts and in this case they were the best I had ever had. I would give them 6 or 7 stars if that was an option. For dessert my wife was stuffed and passed. My son & I both had the tiramisu and it was great.
I want to highlight our server, Lisa. She had a great personality and talked to us for several minutes about non-food topics. She knew the menu very well and made great recommendations. She checked on us frequently so we were never waiting or wanting for anything.
Finally, La Za Za is expensive, at least to my family. Plan on spending a Benjamin ($100) per person if you get a cocktail, appetizer, wine, entree, dessert and coffee. So La Za Za will be reserved for 2 or 3 special occasions per year. I’ll definitely look forward to them.
In conclusion, I highly recommend La Za Za for a fabulous dining experience and without reservation give it 👍👍👍👍👍
I love it here! And their gluten (sensitive/free) pizza is amazing. I always have to double check it is because it seems like the regular dough! Also my husband is from Italy and he gives it his stamp of approval.
We took my sister there for dinner in mid November 2024 and had a wonderful time. Every aspect of our visit was wonderful and they even had a good variety of gluten-free foods I could eat (I have celiacs and can’t eat wheat). I will be going back again.
Abby is your only employee who knows what she is doing. You have a great deli but you should be more careful about your hires. You keep gluten free bread in the deli.
