Thoroughly enjoyed my donut, wonderful + friendly service - I do wish there was more of a range for GF but very grateful and impressed with the bounce and taste. Could barely tell the difference from when I could eat gluten! đ
We recently used Sweet Ali for food to keep a celiac bridesmaid safe for an entire weekend. They also helped us with sweets for our vegan guests. Definitely recommend!
I have Celiac and this place was outstanding. I immediately let the server know I have Celiac and asked about the dedicated fryer and cross contact and she confirmed and said everything can be made gluten free except for the mushroom 'escargot'. The food was absolutely incredible. We got the slow cheetah drink, sweet corn hummus, moroccan onion dip, Big Eye Tuna & Summer Melon, Feta & Olives, Crispy Potatoes, and Lamb & Beef Kefta. All amazing, and I think our favorite of the lot was the moroccan onion dip. They have house made gluten free crackers for the hummus dips that were very delicious and crunchy. I always wait to write my reviews until the next day when I know I'm not sick from being glutened, and can confirm I did not get glutened here. Wish I took more pics of the food!
Not the best experience. Our waitress gave us indifferent answers about how the gluten free food is prepared. We ended up having to talk to the manager (which is something I hate asking for). The food ended up being okay and I didnât have any reaction. It was nice to have gluten free mac and cheese! I think our experience wouldâve been much better if we had a more educated waitress

We thoroughly enjoyed the gluten-free fish and chips, asparagus dip, and drinks. The ambiance was wonderful, and the service was friendly and attentive. Iâve been craving fish and chips for a while now, and I finally found a place that satisfies my craving.
Dedicated Gluten Free kitchen, and the food was delicious! Raspberry mojito was amazing. Alligator dip was so good with amazing baquette toast, hard to beleive it was gluten free, the texture of the baguette was amazing. The gumbo had perfect amount of spice. The chicken wings were the best. The fettucine had such great texture for a gluten free pasta, totally nailed it. Loved chatting with Chesa! The atmosphere, decor, music, waitstaff, food were all wonderful.
Their âgluten freeâ donuts are actually advertised as âgluten lessâ. If you are celiac be aware they are fried in the same oil as the regular gluten containing. My work got these for me thinking they were gluten free bc of how they are advertised. They made me very sick.
Chase was amazing! Made my sisterâs bday dinner special & gave special attention to the gluten-free choices to make sure the dishes were gluten-free. 10/10! Highly recommend Aba!
Great tapas restaurant with a marked gluten-free menu. Just check with your server about cross contact issues. I love the brussel sprout salad and the chirizo wrapped dates!
We were in Chicago for business. My friend has severe allergies, gluten, nuts, strawberries, eggs. We selected Mon Ami Gabi based on options for gluten free. We made reservation and arrived about 20 minutes early. Entrance to the hotel is gorgeous. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Making sure we parked at the correct valet location (there's 2 one for residence one for restaurant. They brought us to the bar while we waited for seating. Barkeep was very friendly and very efficient. We didn't wait more then 20 minutes for our table. We were seated and we ensured they were aware of the concerns for gluten and other allergens. Waiter already was aware thanks to OpenTable reservation, I'd added a comment so they'd know ahead. They were extremely considerate pointed out the dishes that are GF. We skipped an appetizer and ordered dinner. The wait staff were friendly without being overly. Food was delivered quickly and cooked to perfection. I ordered medium rare beef and my friend ordered salmon almondine(without the almonds). Food was flavorful and delicious. Not only was our server attentive but the other staff ensured we were comfortable, well taken care of, and had everything we needed. They cleared dishes and glasses quietly while you ate without being distributive and made sure the water glasses were always full. I'd highly recommend the restaurant if you're in the area. For a Thursday the place was Busy. Reservations highly recommended. A mixture of date nights, family dinners (with younger kids) special occasions. Some folks were dressed up others in flannels and it all worked.
Went back-to-back mornings, delicious GF breakfasts, separate GF menu, food and beverages were excellent. We had Jack as our server both mornings and he was excellent, provided great options and understood gluten allergy options well.
The best gluten free pizza I have ever had!!! The drinks are also very good, and the service is good too. They have good mocktails as well! Will be coming back!
The entire bakery is gluten free & they take precautions with other allergies as well.
Everything is AMAZING! Every time I go I usually get 1 of everything thats dairy free/vegan (and gf of course) and I am never disappointed.
The owner/head pastry chef, Lorena is so sweet! She will make your vision come to life for custom orders!
Food is excellent, lots of gluten free options suitable for someone with celiac. Service is great, but it's very loud and overly crowded. Tables are extremely close and people are often yelling at each other, which isn't how I like to brunch. If you go early it's not as bad.
Best airport food experience ever. I have celiac and as soon as I mentioned it they changed gloves and used new utensils to get food from new containers, which is above and beyond and so appreciated. Food is so good. Wish it was at every airport!!!!!
To start, extremely rude staff. Also, I have celiac and they only had one option for me and it was the worse donut Iâve ever had. And to make it better, as my boyfriend was paying we ordered an uber that was 2 min away and were immediately kicked out in the cold weather. There are definitely way better places to spend your money and to also have good gluten free options. If I could rate this a zero I would.
The dosas, idli, sambar, ice cream⊠itâs all so wonderfully delicious and perfect for anyone anytime, whether youâre vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or not. Itâs worth a trip into the city by itself for sure and Iâm sure Iâll be back soon.
I had a great friend share these with me so cannot speak to the price but OMG best gluten free âbakedâ dessert Iâve had. I feel so good after eating it and itâs still sweet. Truly perfect. I think the best flavors are the date one and the banana bread cup. And itâs vegan, yay!
This British bakehouse is phenomenal, personable, and not insanely priced. I'm not even gluten free and I loved it. My friend has celiac disease and is so limited when it comes to wheat eats so we went there as a small group to try it out and have some weekend fun. We each drooled over everything we ordered, (and I have a professional baking background so I'm pretty discerning)... Lemon bars, raspberry cake, other vanilla cake of some kind, sprinkled donuts and lattes. Go get them. Now. You're welcome. When I'm in the area again I will definitely be back for another sugar rush.
I was blown away by how friendly and accommodating they were here. My husband, myself and my 4 year old daughter came in and they were immediately very accommodating to our family. I have celiac and they walked through the only 2 items that cannot be prepared gluten-free and then noted it's a dedicated fryer and they take care to keep those few items away from the other prep spaces to avoid cross contamination. They assured me I would be safe eating there which was so incredibly kind.
Now onto the food! We had fried plantains, panuchos and flautas. All very flavorful and fresh. We also ordered the horchata and a margarita which were both great as well. I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!
I'm gluten free and they took my restriction very seriously and were so thoughtful and kind! There's gluten free pasta and plenty of dishes to choose from. Customer service was 10/10!!
Amazing food - I dream about the meal Iâve had here. The servers are always well informed and Iâve never felt weird about asking for celiac safe food!
I had pasta al limon with salmon ( gluten free) I chose zucchini as alternative for noodles, it was tasteless and the sauce is less dense like it's a soup unlike the picture, salmon is ok it wasn't burnt and good seasoned. Please correct it. My husband had a BBQ chicken it's good we like it.
Wonderful cafe with the sweetest staff and tasty gluten free doughnuts, wraps, and THE BEST bacon. As locals we frequent this place -- they take extra care to appreciate every customer. Highly recommend.
Cool date night spot. Options for everyone! I am gluten free (intolerance not allergy) and had no issues. I really loved Madai and I always love me some Chicago RAW. It was really nice to have the greenhouse-like glass roof above us, but I felt like some nice ambient music would have been a good addition. The service is was very polite and speedy.
I LOVE this place. The space is super large, clean and open. The service is great. And the ciders are solid. I like that they are constantly rotating and trying new ones out. But if and when they are too weird for me, they always keep some on the menu permanently (the pedestrian cider is a fav).
I have celiac and there are plenty of GF options and staff are always helpful in making sure nothing is cross contaminated.
We stumbled into Baby Doll Bakery after going to the Wheaton Farmers Market. We had no idea this was a gluten free bakery until after we visited. We loved all of the desserts and decided to have them cater my daughterâs 1st birthday party. They were very easy to work with an accommodating after a last minute party date change.
The brownies, and sugar cookies were a hit at the party. All of the kids seamed the cake pops when they were brought out. Will definitely order from here again.
I ordered gluten free pancakes, and when I went to tell them it was âa gluten allergyâ (I have celiac disease) she didnât understand. My boyfriend tried telling her and she replied by saying , âshe ordered gluten free pancakes.â with no confirmation it was safe to order. She then proceeds to collect our menus and throw them on the table next to us??? The server was overall rude and snappy despite being nice when we walked in.
The taste of the pancakes wasnât even worth the price or risking getting sick. Iâm leaving this review right after leaving, so I have no idea yet if itâll actually get me sick.
I REALLY wanted to love this place since it is so iconic. Iâm so disappointed!!:(
Got the tofu banh mi, which was a first for me, only place I've found that does them gluten free. It was really, really good and everyone was super friendly. Food came out quickly, and the coffee was great.

There was a 2 hour wait to get into Au Cheval; and many people we talked to highly recommended we go there. They said it was an amazing burger, and we needed to try it out.
So... we waited our two hours and wandered other establishments, wondering what this burger would be like.
Firstly, hype is a dangerous thing, especially in the food industry, and when we were finally allowed to enter and eat we noticed that the menu was down to Earth and there wasn't anything too crazy or unique...
But.... I tell you what, it was a delicious hamburger, and the place reminded me of a nostalgic diner feel with a modern hipster take; it was highly enjoyable to be there and to just experience your meal with whoever you chose to share it with.
They took their food and their reputation very seriously; they paid attention to every detail, and they were highly aware of food allergies and how to navigate the menu for people with Gluten Allergies like myself.
The hamburger was delcious... complimented with their in-house "Dijonaise" sauce.
The coffee was amazing... but what made our experience even better was when my buddy asked for some real cream for his coffee.
Our waitress proceeded to go into the kitchen and to make a fresh blend of milk and cream to ensure that he could thoroughly enjoy his meal and coffee.
The food was tasty, the staff was great, and you could tell that everyone who worked there cared about the customer experience and the reputation of the restaurant.
Highly recommend you grab a bite when you can.
Allergy friendly options are available.
