Stopped in with my daughter who is gluten-free. She got a delicious looking salmon salad, and I had a burger, which was great. Server was great. Main complaint was the drinks. It was happy hour and I ordered an original margarita on the rocks and it was horrible. Tasted like it was straight out of a mix bottle. I get a migraine from most mixes so I asked the server to replace it with a glass of happy hour Chardonnay, which was equally awful. Would go back for the food, but definitely not drinks.
Ordered a gluten free bun w/ sandwich, ice cream with peanut butter cups. Specified allergy.. they put BROWNIES in my ice cream... like cmon. is this a sick joke? This is not the first time they don't take allergies or insensitivities serious. the store manager doesn't do anything if you do fill out a survey, you never hear from anyone on the lack of proper caution. No one is perfect, but that is ridiculous. AVOID this location.
I've been here before when visiting Cape Coral and it definitely has good food. Last night I had gluten-free pasta with the the Alfredo sauce because that's virtually never an option. The pasta was more dry with covered with heavy white cheese and very little sauce. I had the baked dish that now I can't remember the exact name of but it had chicken shrimp + something else not prosciutto but I can't remember. The chicken was kind of flavorless... Overall I wasn't impressed with that dish. Both my sisters said their meals were good. Last time I was there I got the pizza and it was delicious.. My server was great.
We had a really great dinner. The food was delicious and the staff were very informed about the menu. Nothing was labeled as GF, but they knew what was celiac safe. The chips are in a dedicated fryer. The margaritas were AMAZING!!
This ws an amazing experience. Dont k ow why we waited so long to come here, the drinks were epic and my son and my girl and i ate like we were starving. Onw vegan, one gluten free and one carnivor lol, we ate and drank and loved every single thing.
My family had a wonderful meal here. They have a huge menu. Nothing is labeled GF, but they can modify many dishes and a lot are just naturally gluten free. They can even make sushi GF and have GF soy sauce. The seafood tower is to die for and the gluten free pasta was so good!
Rob took such great care of our table. Recommended awesome variations for the items on the menu and accommodated for a gluten allergy. We enjoyed the atmosphere with such a good meal. 10/10 recommend
Fathoms restaurant is a great restaurant to done at in the very nice and ritzy cape harbour shops . The food was fresh and we always enjoy dining out with the kiddos here . Take the family here you won't regret it and then for dessert if none of the dessert options here don't quite appeal to you go to menchies on ne pine island or d for a delicious and refreshing healthy gluten free low calorie treat .
We had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening while in town and also ordered pizzas to go one night. Nothing is labeled gluten-free on the main menu, but they have a small gluten-free menu if you ask. Fried items are not celiac safe, including the chips with the nachos. The staff is knowledgeable and can guide you towards safe meals. In the restaurant I got the barbecue sandwich without the bun. And a side of pesto potatoes cooked in a pan. The pizzas to-go were good. I was assured the GF pizzas were cooked on a separate pan.
We decided to try it out while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised they had a good amount of gluten free options! They even had a gluten free bun that did not fall apart! Win win!
The burger with the lettuce had the gluten free bun! Both salads were gluten free. The dessert was not gluten free but my husband said it was very very good!
Our service was great as well. We definitely recommend this Duffy's location.
We found our new favorite gluten free wings and gluten free pizza spot! The sweet Thai chili wings were finger licking good. We ordered the house special gf pizza and it came loaded with fresh and quality toppings. We love mushroom on our pizza so the holy shitake pie hit the spot. The only thing I recommend is requesting the pizza to be more well done because gluten free dough can be slightly doughy sometimes. You should definitely order the spicy mango margarita. It was delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was very friendly. We even met the owner Chris who came over and introduced himself to us. We loved hearing how much he cared about the business and told us the artwork was done by a local artist. We enjoyed the whole vibe of the place.
To our surprise on Mother's Day, we won the golden ticket for a free meal at Mellow Mushroom in Cape Coral. We couldn't be happier. It's really hard to eat out when my husband suffer from celiac disease so this place checked all the boxes.
Good stuff. I ordered crab. Make sure you know how to eat it. I used a little hammer to brake the well and then eat it. Good experience and not really expensive (especially for a sea food restaurant). They have gluten-free options. And a 2 for 1 drinks deal.
Also probably a good idea to make a reservation even if they say it's not gonna be busy. It can randomly get busy and then it will take like 40 minutes for you to get a table.
I had dinner at Cork Soakers Deck & Wine Bar on September 16, 2023, with a group of friends. Can I tell you the menu looks delicious? Now, I have had celiac disease and a soy allergy for 15 years and eating out is tough. So, I called the restaurant to find out what I could eat. And I spoke to Bob, the owner who was awesome!
Unfortunately, I could not have anything cooked in the fryer or food that contained mayonnaise. And of course, that meant that the risotto and the eggs diablo are out! BUT they use Udi’s gluten free bread which was a plus for me. Also, I could have steamed vegetables, salmon, and filet mignon.
I ordered the Bacchus board which was good. I am not sure about the jams, but I enjoyed the cheese and meats. As for my friends, they devoured the coconut shrimp and buffalo chicken wings. For dinner I had gluten free pasta topped with grilled salmon. That is right! It is not on the menu! I know right! Yes, Bob, went out and bought me gluten free pasta! My meal was delicious. And my friends got prime rib which they raved about.
A big shout out to the staff and Chef! They were attentive and provided quality service! We had a fun time, and the food was excellent. Thank you, Bob, for taking care of my gluten and soy dietary needs! You rock!
Excellent experience! Our server Em was so polite and friendly. Food was delicious!!! We loved it all! Cauliflower pizza crust was great and I’m glad they offered it as we needed a gluten free option. Next time we are in the area, we will visit again!
Overall a good experience.. the service was excellent.
I felt the meat was a little dry when served: meaning you had to use their sauces. Plenty of gluten free options.
We are from Chicago and this is as close to Chicago pizza as you are going to find in Florida. My husband always needs his fix when we are down here. Pizza is very good, but could use some more sauce. Its fantastic that they have a gluten free pizza! It was pretty good as far as gluten free goes. Servers are nice and all the Chicago bears decor is fun
We had a great experience at the outdoor bar with Falisha as our bartender! She shared her favorite drink and recommended some good gluten free options on the menu. Can’t wait to go back the next time we are in town.
Had a great time here, and our waitress Lisa was so patient with our large party and many requests. She was the real reason we had such a good time! Food was also very good. Lots of options, including gluten free.
