100% gluten-free, which is appreciated, but the quality and service have been declining along with the number of customers.
The waits for your food are endless.
We were a large group and they treated us wonderfully. They have a great value group menu and even gluten-free options. The waitress was very entertaining, and the pizzas were delicious.
I loved it! We went for lunch and the menu was super complete. First course, second course, dessert and drink all included for €15. The galette was delicious! They have vegan and gluten-free options for many dishes. I will be back!
Gluten-free ice cream, suitable for celiacs, super light and tasty! Cones are also suitable, they don't get soft or fall apart 🥹
It was without a doubt the best ice cream I've ever had! I ordered two scoops, one of strawberry ice cream and the other of passion fruit. It was divine, especially on a hot night in Barcelona. The family loved it too, even though they don't have celiac disease.
I highly recommend it to everyone!
They have gluten-free bread but you have to ask that they not add the potatoes since they do have traces. Good variety of burgers with Italian touches, highly recommended. Gluten free
It's spectacular! We're a celiac and vegan couple, and it's heaven! Everything is delicious, and the flavors are intense and varied! Highly recommended!
First time in Barcelona, found this cafe while looking for potatoes and gluten free dishes. Tried their baked potatoes and they were delicious. The vegan homemade sauce was a treat to experience. They have big variety of gluten free cakes and gluten free dishes.
The staff was super friendly and positive.
Highly recommend.
🙂
We did my sister's bachelorette party, there were 18 of us, one of whom was celiac and another was pregnant. They were very attentive to avoid possible cross-contamination and informed us and offered alternatives for the girl who was pregnant. At all times they were very attentive to us and made the dinner a 10 experience! Totally recommended :)
Very original and elaborated dishes for a vegetarian restaurant. They have a gluten-free option, which was really good. The curry was the best dish we had. The dessert (pumpkin pie) was delicious. The only downside is that there are not many choices for non alcoholic drinks.
Place run by Italians. Good quality local tapas, but with prices, in my opinion, high, perhaps on average with those of the city. Glass of wine + papas bravas tapas + tapa de queso + creme brulee = €23.60 and we are talking about tapas, therefore portions to accompany a drink. Cuisine for celiacs not guaranteed against contamination as, as reported by the waiter, very small.
We have come a couple of times before and once again it has not failed us. Well-appointed restaurant, with open kitchen and friendly and attentive service. We ordered a starter of paneer (fresh cheese) with different marinades that we loved and as a main course a couple of chicken curries (saag and tikka massala). The curries had generous portions of chicken and we accompanied them with rice. Many gluten free options.
I highly recommend this place in Barceloneta a few steps from the sea. The staff is very nice, friendly and above all attentive to my needs as a celiac. I tried the tacos and nachos, both gluten-free, and they were truly fabulous! I came back two nights in a row and I can't wait to go back again. Thank you!!
Above all, highlight the treatment of all workers. A 10 in everything but especially in dealing with children, it is appreciated to go to places where you do not leave with the feeling that the children are unnecessary... The service and attention are excellent and the food is very good, perhaps a bit high the prices. Something negative about the place is that we went on December 27 at night and it was cold, even though they offer you blankets to protect you from the cold... They have paellas and some other gluten-free things and that is also appreciated!
I recommend 100%, very well priced half day menu 13 euros. The food was spectacular, the best in my opinion was the pasta carbonara. It also has options for celiacs. I will repeat for sure!
My favorite place to have a delicious breakfast in Barcelona. I'm celiac and for me this place is paradise. It will also be the case if you're vegan or like healthy food, and it's reasonably priced.
We enjoyed a three course paella meal. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. I needed a gluten free substitute for the dessert and I asked him whether the chef can find me an alternative to the standard cheesecake. I was pleased that they could give me the crema de catalana for my dessert. I also love their olives and the antipasto. The seafood paella was delicious. We were also delighted by the sangria which we substituted with a bottle of wine.
This time we found a spot in an unexpected spot, in a quiet street with several restaurants. We were looking for a restaurant to eat on Christmas Eve and where we could also go for gluten-free. And it worked!!
Very hospitable, delicious food! Some gluten-free options, unfortunately no gluten-free bread for the scampi and no gluten-free dessert options.
But we enjoyed a pleasant Christmas evening! 🎅🎄
Great place to enjoy Argentine food! Everything was super filling and delicious.
We ordered a gluten-free Milanese to share (they're really big), and they were amazing!!
We'll definitely be back!
Plus, the pizzas here are delicious! It's really like eating in Argentina.
Alfredo (the cook) was very kind and came over to check on us and make sure everything went well.
It was a pleasure to go!
Celiac patients beware!! This isn't a good restaurant for us.
I ordered grilled fish (sea bass), stating that I was celiac. They assured me it was gluten-free.
I don't know what they did to the fish, but I developed a significant inflammatory condition. I don't recommend it for celiac patients.
Establishment with a good atmosphere, where they contemplate many options of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes. What I liked the most was the eggplant and honey tapa and the duck breast and trumpets of death rice.
Incredible service from Matthew!!! The food was delicious and rich as a gluten free vegan I was so impressed with the attention to detail in the food. My meat eating parents loved their meals as well.
Incredible, quality food. As for the service, also impeccable. The only thing to comment is that the allergens are not well indicated on the menu. Luckily they have been able to advise us and modify the dishes so as not to have problems with gluten. A service of 10.
After having visited thousands of pizza places, Sartoria Panatieri in a single night has become my first choice to eat in Barcelona!!! The abundant and fresh ingredients stand out in every bite you take, the size of the
Pizza is perfect, but what stands out about this place is the DOUGH, pizza connoisseurs will know what I mean, the recipe achieved in this pizza is its dough, the texture and flavor is special and that is why it is awarded as one of the best in the world!!! Besides, it doesn't leave you with that feeling of heaviness characteristic of gluten!! Don't hesitate to visit it because it doesn't disappoint.
I'm not usually one to post negative reviews of places, but yesterday's lunch was nowhere near what we expected.
We went as a group of 6, reservation at 2pm. At 14:15 we were all diners. The letter and take note of more than half an hour of waiting. We didn't get our first course until 3:15pm. As we were talking we spent the time quite distracted. In the restaurant there were only 4 tables of 6-8 people. For the second one we also had to wait and they didn't bring them all at once.
We had a serious incident with one of these insects that cause pests in the city and should never be present in a restaurant. We as a group did not know how to manage it because they should have left and put in a complaint sheet, but neither did the restaurant staff, their apologies were to invite us for bread and coffee.
And yes, I know, we should have expressed the complaint when paying. To do it by this means is cowardly.
If it hadn't been for the long waiting time and the incident, I might say that for €20 a starter and a dish is pretty good. The food was good.
In their favor to say that they were very careful with the issue of gluten intolerance.
My girlfriend and I went here for dinner and from start to finish was very impressed with the service, food and ambiance. The service was unlike anything I’ve experienced in my week in Spain and the food was right there with it. Strongly recommend!
The staff was very accommodating to my girlfriend who is Gluten Free and provided her great options.
