We sat out in the air conditioned front section and Christy took great care of us! We were looking for some yummy gluten free options and Sophia’s pizza was really great. Next time we will try the gf pastas. Christy was awesome and the kale salad was my favorite - definitely try the kale salad.
I love getting the chicken avocado wrap! I have a little day date with my dog here on their outside seating often. I love that they offer gluten free and vegan options on their menu so I can bring my friends too
Great place. Gluten-free options for pasta and pizza. Some other menu items could be gluten-free, but you had to ask, they were not marked. They had one of the best GF pizza crust I ever had. I look forward to trying other menu items. Points off for a wobbly table and chair.
Our local owned pizza place of choice. They are really nice and the good is good. They have gluten free options which is good given that my husband has celiac disease.

PICCOLA GELATERIA IS THE REAL DEAL!
Ria creates gelato with love, knowledge, and only the purest ingredients! If are buying “gelato” any where else in New Orleans, you are not eating the real deal. Other “gelato” storefronts are serving you Ice cream dressed up as gelato. Piccola Gelateria creates the softest, smoothest, creamiest, yummy goodness! She has dairy-free options that have no right to be called dairy-free. All but the Cookies Black are gluten-free. Take a trip to Italy without leaving New Orleans and visit PICCOLA GELATERIA
My buddy and I are in town for jazzfest. We couldn’t find a reservation on a Saturday night for any of the downtown hot spots, so we took a flyer on Vincent’s ( which is located about 15 minutes out of center city in a lovely residential area). We are so glad we did. It’s amazing. The place was busy, but extremely accommodating. My kind of place. Very homey and completely non pretentious, and totally authentic. It didn’t seem like it was frequented by many tourists ( other than us- lol). The patrons all seemed like regulars. Our server was great.
Both my buddy and myself had a tough time selecting from the most appealing selection of apps and main courses I have ever read. I could have ordered the entire menu. Nothing sounded like regular fare. Finally we chose an eggplant app which was splendid and an equally delectable order of escargot. For main courses we ordered the house specialty of stuffed canaloni and a colossal stuffed pork chop. But were as good as it gets. There was nothing left in either of our tanks for dessert. For a moment both of us had tinkered with the thought of ordering a multi course Italian feast for $65 per person, but neither of us wanted to be glutens, so we passed on it for now. This might be amongst the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to in my life ( and I’m sort of a pretty old guy who’s dined in about a bazillion places in my day- lol).
Can’t recommend Vincent’s enough. As Tony the Tiger stated 30 years ago- “ it’s great”
