Always the best food. Very large place with a beautiful patio. It is one of my favorite places to go. Everything is always good. Only took a photo of my item last night which was the shroom burger. Beautiful baguette and tasty cheeses to make it the perfect burger. Friends had a poke bowl, Salad and another burger.
My friend needed Gluten Free and they were helpful.
At the bar they also have THC drinks 🍹 One of my favorite places to get wings. Also one of my favorite appetizers is the Ahi Tuna Crisp.
Servers will help you makes choices if you have not been here. Friendly staff!
This is a great option in the North Loop.
Great experience here with celiac disease, visiting with a friend who also has celiac. We were both impressed by the confidence of the staff in describing the precautions they take when notified of gluten sensitivity, as well as their overall friendliness. Everything on the menu is gluten free besides the regular buns. Highly recommend!
Where's The Flour is where it's at! The first time we went there we were blown away. This is a celiac friendly restaurant that isn't a dessert place. Not only for gluten free, but for those with other allergies too. We've been able to get dairy free and egg free. The staff is friendly. It's made those with food allergies/sensitivities/insecurities feel more normal. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anybody.
Our server was very friendly, just not super attentive. Sat many times waiting for a drink refill. That being said, as a Gluten Free gal, they have MANY options. The tacos were amazing. My friend got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and wasn’t impressed as it tasted more like curry sauce.
First time coming here. My fiancée has Celiac Disease and we were thankful for their well marked menu for their GF options!
The hosts were very kind, quick and efficient. We were seated fairly quickly at 5pm on a Saturday.
Our waitress, Brittany S., was so helpful with the menu’s and was quick to show us their mocktail menu when we told her that we didn’t drink.
The food was amazing and also came out quickly! We got their GF chocolate cake to-go because we just couldn’t pass it up.
Food presentation, Service, the atmosphere and pricing is all 5 stars and worth it.
We will be back :)
We had a lovely late lunch between flights at the Minneapolis airport. I am Celiac so the menu was so refreshing! Our server, Ken, was very attentive and very efficient. The only downside was the cost! Our lunch was almost $150! (with two drinks each and tip).
Love it!! It’s like a 50s malt shop feel with 80s/90s music and incredible food choices. Picked this place because they have real servers not computer order systems. Shomi was an exceptional server. Family friendly. Gluten Free friendly too. Hugs ;)
Best breakfast I’ve EVER had. I got the Scromble of The Day. Tomatoes and Chimichurri *chefs kiss* I’m gluten free and the GF English muffins were great.. I got TWO with my breakfast. My dad got the breakfast burrito and he loved it! Super cool spot to check out in downtown Minneapolis.
Literally such a gift! Are you a person with celiacs desperately in search of gochujang and fried Korean food? This is the place you want to be! Seats fill up fast tho so get there early if you can
Everything is good here. The hardest part is trying to decide between getting what you got last time or trying something new. Amazing gluten free options, including fries!!! Local ingredients. When my friend says shes craving a burger this is where we go.
Great burgers and fries. The triple berry ketchup was amazing. Gluten free options available and fries were made in a separate fryer to avoid cross contamination.
Service was fantastic too!
Dedicated fryer for the fries. Chicken wings can also be made gluten free. Gluten free bun available but had to make sure that the bun did not get toasted in the machine where the regular buns go. Very knowledgeable staff and if they don’t know, they make sure to ask before inputting your order. Just make sure that you advocate for yourself and ask about kitchen and prep practices.
Always great service and friendly staff! Having the option for delicious gluten free pizza is a super bonus! We usually take-out, but the vibe here is relaxed and comfortable and is great atmosphere for conversation.
Consistently excellent burgers - in my opinion the cheeseburger is the way to go. Awesome pickles. This has become our go-to take out spot. At the time of this review, it is also celiac safe, with a dedicated fryer for fries if you request it.
Been on n off.Not the best Fish n Chips I've had there or curds just arnt the same Gluten free but yet cook things in 1 vat.I get sick each time Don't say Gluten free or sensitive if they are not.
I was here for lunch during the week. The gluten-free pasta was really good and I was impressed with how much meat was in it. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. I didn't realize there was an outdoor patio and plan to check that out next time!
The Cedar Chest is hands down the BEST place in the Crosslake area! We have always had outstanding service and great food here. I am so appreciative of the variety of gluten-free menu choices!! The wait staff and bar tenders are always so cheerful and friendly. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can dine outside on the beautiful deck.

Watch out, Rochester, this gem is amazing. Not only do they have one of the best gluten-free options I have seen, but the regular food is amazing as well. 6 stars.
Celiac disease sucks. So when a place offers a gluten free bun I give them a shot. First time was great. I would’ve given the place 4/5 stars at least.
But now I’m angry. We got smash burger delivered via doordash. I ordered a gluten free bun. Our order arrived and I was suspicious. This was too soft for a gluten free bun. So I took a hesitant nibble. My gears were confirmed. While I shouldn’t have had that tiny nibble, smashburger should’ve given me what I ordered. Is it so hard to pay attention to the order?

It is always a good day when I ask a restaurant if they have a dedicated GF fryer and the answer is "YES"! I was so pleasantly surprised to hear that I was able to eat the french fries. The server also went out of her way to inform me that the malt vinegar aioli is not gluten free so she substituted it for the herb aioli. The fries were delicious and so crunchy. I also ordered the house white wine which was pretty good for $7 and an extra dirty martini. I didn't like the martini but that's on me because it was my first time ever having one! I cannot wait to go back to try more. The atmosphere is great as well and our server was so kind. The fries came out so quickly!
The menu was very limited. I’m gluten and dairy free and. Can usually find good options at most restaurants. My options were very limited. I was hoping to have a salad, but they were very basic. We had a whole conversation about gluten free and I asked for the burger with no bun or cheese and it still came with a bun.
Even if I could eat gluten I thought it was a very limited menu. Won’t go back.
We had a great experience at Red Cow Wayzata. All staff extremely attentive and took extra care and concern for my friend with celiac. Chris our server was delightful, he made sure our experience was flawless!

The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was decent, but not amazing. I think they are trying really hard to get the farm to table, real food feel, but fall short in a couple of areas. They should use real ketchup, and the cheese on their cheeseburger was like plastic. Also, there weren't very many vegetable options. We asked for the brussel sprouts to be sauteed instead of fried, but they wouldn't do it. That was disappointing. Glad they have some gluten free options. The chicken was excellent- you can tell it's high quality. We will definitely come back, but I hope they try to raise the bar on their other ingredients and not use so much vegetable oils, but instead use butter, lard, or things that really do come from a farm.
Update: we did get a phone call from the owner who said normally they can make vegetables with butter in a pan. Appreciate the follow up.
