If I could give 10 stars, I would! This place is amazing, cozy, it has quiet, sofisticated ambiance. I would love to come back.
I am gluten and sairy free, and chef made me deliciouse simple mediterranian grilled chicken with baked potato, dressed with amazing garlic pepper sauce, sprinkled with cruchy bakon bites. It was just heart warming to see gluten free dairy free meal done so well and presented so deliciousely.

I had the chance to try Lumiere 2 weeks ago, and I was incredibly impressed. It is a unique and beautiful little spot...so exciting for the area. Most importantly the food was delicious! And I love the concept: South of France meets Southern US. It was beautifully executed.
I had the Sewanee Salad to start, and it was perfect. For an appetizer we had a chicken pesto crepe. I am gluten intolerant, so I haven't had a crepe in about ten years. To my delight, they were able to make a buckwheat crepe, and it was delicious. What a treat. Anyway, I ordered the ratatouille for my main course. It was a vegetarian dish, served over grits. This was my absolute favorite. It had smoky eggplant, a perfect amount of acid from the tomatoes, and was served over grits, which provided a creamy balance to the dish. I cannot wait to order this again. We finished our meal with a lemon curd crepe, which was also fantastic.
In addition to excellent food, they have a top-notch wine list, and the chef is very knowledgeable regarding the list and appropriate pairings. And I can't leave out that I started out with a really tasty whiskey cocktail.
Bottomline: 5 stars for sure. Totally unique for the area. Cannot wait to go back.
This is our 2nd visit here and each time food and service were great. Today was a great time for us to visit as my wife eats gluten free now and we found that have lots of options. We got to meet with the owner/manager and he talked to us a lot about those options and made some recommendations for this and for me as I eat a plant based . She had the Philly Cheesesteak on GF bun. I had the Rivera Pizza (kind of a Mediterranean style) on a GF crust (so she could enjoy as well). We will defiantly be back
Bonus points for lots of outdoor seating.
We stopped in after a long weekend camping. Came in still wet from the rain, and boy oh boy, was this breakfast the most perfect thing.
Eggs were cooked perfectly, the fruit was juicy and fresh, and the coffee was tasty.
I can definitely recommend this place!
The people were lovely and very accommodating for my gluten-free needs. (They even have a few gf baked goods at the counter!)
Spite the limited menu, the offerings were all on point. Glad we found this little hidden gem.
The kiddos shared a turkey burger on a gluten free bun, so happy and appreciative that they offered a gluten free bun as this is a sensitivity one of my toddlers suffers from.
My husband has the miss dessie burger, he said it was flavorful and enjoyed every bite.
I had a quinoa bowl that was absolutely delicious and affordable at just $6!!!
We all shared a basket of crinkle fries with a side of pimento cheese. Everyone enjoyed it.
If in area, definitely take the drive off the main highway and stop on in!
The staff was very pleasant as well.
