Can't say enough good things about this place, and it has been a while since I have dined-in at a restaurant and enjoyed it (probably since before the pandemic). Okay, so I am just going to go for it in this review with the intent that the owners see this and know that I recognize all the effort they put into this place to making it amazing. First of all, great staff. I went in with my small (pug) service dog my first time there, and a customer was very upset that I would be dining-in with her. He went on a tirade and stormed off after a staff member let him know that it's legally allowed (seemed like he didn't know about service dog rules and in all fairness, she didn't have her vest on at the time - though I did have it with me). In any case, once I settled in, the same staff member approached me and thanked me for staying in spite of that guy, which I found very cool. The food was excellent and comes out quick!! It's tough to find good vegan food in general AND I'm also gluten free; I was so pleased to see many options for GF as well. This next part is specifically meant for the owners/concept designers of this establishment - I really enjoyed the ample spacious, cozy seating for solo dining (I'm a frequent solo diner) and the streamlined approach to dining. I don't think they offer a traditional sit-down dining experience (I may be wrong though). I like how this place blends self-service with the sit-down atmosphere, it is the first time I have experienced this and I hope more restaurants follow suit. I think the whole having a server take your order, establish a phony rapport in hopes of big tips, then get stressed if a mistake is made, and guest waiting around for the check if it's slammed at a restaurant (traditional sit-down dining experience) needs to die. I was a server for roughly a decade and in all honesty, I think it's awkward for everyone involved and not that fun. The pandemic may have identified this pain point in the restaurant experience across the board and The Rad Radish took notice, well done!! If you are a diner that loves that song-and-dance, you may want to just do take-out from this place, or be brave and try a new (and in my opinion, better) way to dine. Oh, and the prices are VERY reasonable, gotta love that in these trying times!!! Thanks Rad Radish, for being... RAD!!! Will definitely return, keep on kicking ass!!

We couldn't find a better place to eat in the Italian neighborhood!! 😍😍 We sat on the terrace, which was already quite charming. Upon entering I was surprised by the small size of the place and all the decoration themed in Italy, where shelves with Italian brand food could not be missing. To my surprise I found a GLUTEN FREE pasta. They gave us a 10 service, the lady who served me explained that they could make me GLUTEN-FREE pasta, in addition to the sauces I could choose. I have celiac disease, so I asked about cross contamination and they told me that they took it into account. I ordered spaghetti with pesto sauce (It cost me $24, it was expensive but it was very good). Incredible!! My friends ordered pasta with different sauces, all delicious

The best place for pre-Orpheam shows! You may eat along side some cast memebers (We did)! Food is fun and they incorporate the show into the food choices and drinks. Food was beautifully prepared. No Gluten free options so we had a unless burger and fish and chips. Burger was flavorless but looked great! Both our fries were cold. The drinks are fun and delicious. Yuzu tea was a favorite! Atmosphere is fun and have cast signed posters. I'd go again! Next show for sure! Make reservations the place is small but accommodating.

Friendly service, tasty food. Thai is a risky choice for me because I'm allergic to gluten and peanuts. They had a great spicy coconut curry that was really good!

Good food and very good service. They had gluten-free options and were very nice about all my special requests. My friends liked their Pulcinella Pizza. They replaced gluten-free pasta in the gnocchi dish for me and that was very nice. The best part was the cocktails.

No-frills Turkish restaurant - got the king combo grill (to try a bit of everything) 🍖 and the baba ganoush 🍆 Both were delicious 😋 The hot sauce was tasty too 🌶️ you will need to get it yourself from the counter next to the fridge. Asked for no pita bread and no couscous to make it gluten free.

Wonderful folks, food, and drinks on tap. The atmosphere is very modern and pretty hip with a long bar, a few tables, and a lounge area. The taps change frequently and always include at least one cider for their gluten-free friends and patrons, while a menu with absolutely delightful offerings has a few common staples as well as uncommon ones, such as the impossible burger. Definitely try the eggplant fries and wasabi ketchup if you're up for a delicious new experience.

Of course you have to get the tea leaf salad, but the seafood consommé and whole branzino with fermented tea leaf chimichurri were excellent. The interior space is sexy and well though out. Also very gluten-free and diet friendly. Definitely a great add to Hayes Valley.
