Just rate the service. We asked for gluten free food and the hostess was rude about it, then just walked away and didn't offer us any table. It felt terrible from a customer service standpoint. We just decided to leave.
I only value the service. We asked about gluten free food and the hostess was a little rude with her answer, and just left and didn't offer us a table. It felt terrible from a customer service standpoint. We decided to just leave and find another place.
We had an amazing time at Restaurant Guna. Our server Enzo and the owner/rest of the staff was attentive and nice! With a gluten allergy in our group they were very accommodating. All around a great time/ atmosphere/ service!
With so many restaurants to choose from, we returned the same day for dinner, I regret discovering this place so late. Pizza and pasta with a gluten-free offer, easily excluding other food intolerances. I wholeheartedly recommend it
One of the waiters told us they had gluten-free pizza, but after we'd chosen it, another waiter told us they didn't have that dish. We stayed and ordered other dishes because we were already there. Poor service; the staff lacks training on allergies and intolerances.
The owner was really sweet and accomadating, even accomadating for my celiac disease. The atmosphere was very cosy and warm, feeling small and homy. The service was great, being very kind and accepting. The food tasted amazing along with it being very cheap and allowing no service fees or travel fees for students. Overall an amazing find in Venice and a great place to have lunch or dinner
Great experience, especially for people with gluten (and any other) allergy! The staff was extremely helpful and informed about dietary needs. Amazing food and service!
I am a celiac and a Spanish tourist, a group of 7 people, they had a great variety of gluten-free dishes which is great. Very good and fast service. ^^
Great gluten free pasta options. The waiter was knowledgeable and even brought out some gluten free bread for me to dip into oil and balsamic which was lovely as I didn’t feel left out from the rest of the table.
We came here for cichetti on a Sunday. It had a great range of gluten free cichetti (the toppings were on polenta or there were skewers). Best cichetti we had in Venice. The queue to get food was not overly long and moved quickly. We came back the very next day to get more - it was that good - but on the Monday there were less polenta options and more fried items. We never got to the bottom of it, but we infer the menu might rotate/alternate day by day? Anyway, a fantastic place for celiacs if the items were like what we had on the Sunday. And if they aren’t, there’s another nearby option with consistent polenta options (Bacarando Corte dell’Orso) you could try if you weren’t lucky !
Excellent food. The calzone was perfect, the dough tender and well-baked. The mozzarella and mushroom filling was very balanced.
My wife ordered spaghetti with seafood, and they made it gluten-free. She completed it with fish and grilled vegetables.
I was in a rush but Dya was attentive and sensitive to both my time crunch as well as my gluten sensitivity and double checked my order. Lovely experience.
Excellent bacaro near Rialto! Delicious cicchetti both with and without gluten! For gluten-free, you have to call the day before, but you definitely won't regret it! Advised!
We had a fantastic experience at La Caravelle! The wait staff were extremely attentive and personable, especially Massimo who suggested great wine pairings and recommendations on dishes.
The kitchen accommodated my wife who’s celiac by cooking her gluten free pasta made to order, on the spot; which was great!
The food was all sensational from appetizers to main courses. This was the highlight of our entire Italian trip!
Good food and nice service. They indicate with numbers all the allergens for every dish. Very nice if you need to eat glutenfree or have any other allergies/intolerances.
Beautiful terrace with amazing views. While the food is on the expensive side, it is very good and worth it for the overall experience of the place. They also have gluten-free options available (I had the GF club sandwich pictured)
Delicious gluten-free food! We ordered seafood and fresh grilled fish, and black pasta with cuttlefish. For dessert, panna cotta. I recommend the house white wine—very delicious! The waiter's service was fantastic!
A wonderful surprise and discovery!
I didn't know this place, an extremely inclusive place not far from San Marco.
They have a separate totally vegan menu, and several gluten-free options.
The staff is very kind, and above all competent in matters of intolerances.
We ate a lasagna with radicchio and mushrooms (really creamy and tasty), goulash and a tasting of vegan cheeses and cured meats.
Enjoy the chef's entree and the gluten-free bread basket served hot.
The portions are not abundant and the price is not particularly low, but I think it is the right price for the research and direction of inclusiveness undertaken by the owners.
Finding a restaurant in the heart of Venice where intolerances are not a limit is truly beautiful.
I hope there will also be such inclusive bacari and cicchetterie in the future.
Really recommended!
Modest poke, excellent value for money, €13 for a large poke in the center of Venice is a bargain.
Friendly and fast service, as far as possible (there was only one guy who had to handle 10 customers).
Mediocre location, but it is a place designed for takeaway.
Features multiple gluten-free options.
We were very happy with the food and the service was also good. Priced okay too. Would come again! I had Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia, which was gluten-free (hence as penne).
We have a good experience with the place.
There were 6 of us in total, we had room. Most of us ate pizza, they were very tasty.
It was possible to request gluten-free pasta, which is a positive. The rest of my group said the noodles were also delicious.
