The food is ok, like any other Italian restaurant. I ordered gluten free fettuccine. The waitress said its absolutely possible as they have all gluten free pastas but I received a bowl of penne pasta. I asked about my fettuccine and she said that's the only GF option. Very very disappointed and I didn't appreciate the fact that I was confirmed they have all pastas in GF too. We finished our dinner before 2 hrs and the bill came right away without us even asking for it. Yes we are aware of the 2 hrs policy but the fact that we finished dinner earlier didn't mean we wouldn't have an extra drink. It was like visiting a fast food chain.
The booking was easy and seamless! That’s where the good experience stopped. Having the number in my party change, I was looking at cancelling the booking. As this was in the 24hr booking window, I couldn’t change it and was advised to call. Tried to call the number that was in the booking - number didn’t exist. Found a different number online, called at least 5 times - no answer. Decided I’d go anyway, explained the issue with cancelling or changing, no care in the world. To top it off - I ordered gf everything - albeit the queso came with flour tortillas and was lied TO MY FACE that they were gluten free. They were completely different tortillas to the tacos. The bloating, glassy eyes and fatigue are telling a completely different story. Carbon pre covid was incredible! It’s completely gone downhill since then. Do not recommend.
Lovely staff, and gorgeous location. Fresh fish, and gluten-free chips! Lots of GF options, and staff generally aware, which is comforting as a coeliac!
