Just had an amazing experience at Selia Bar and had to share! The entire place is 100% gluten free, which was such a relief — no need to worry about cross-contamination at all. It’s so refreshing to be able to choose anything from the menu without second-guessing or stressing.
There were so many delicious options to pick from, and everything we tried was fantastic. Our server, Erick, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his thoughtful service.
If you’re looking for a safe and genuinely enjoyable place to eat out, I highly recommend Selia Bar. I left feeling full, happy, and totally at ease.
I wish I knew about this place sooner! Bought a variety of gluten free cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! My favourite is the raspberry cheesecake flavour but everything else was yummy. I never thought gluten free can be this good. The lady working at the shop was also very lovely! Would definitely recommend this place!
I bought 2 gluten free carrot cakes, one with nuts, the other with cranberries, and they were both delicious!! Even the adults & kids who didn't need gluten free were impressed with how delicious they were!! Thank you Earth's Oven, I'll be back to try other desserts :)
A staple every time I go to Calgary. As a celiac I feel so safe here, staff always take time to make sure I understand what I can/cannot eat. I would say about 80 percent of the menu can be made gluten free including the fried chicken. It’s great to be able to share with friends and not sacrifice taste. Could not recommend more.
I have only had their soft buns and banana chocolate chip muffins and they are amazing.
best GF DF dinner buns I have ever had. even my husband who is not celiac likes them.
highly recommend Miss Ps
Went to this place for brunch for the first time and had 3 amazing things to note. 1) the coconut chai was to die for and I would return just for that drink alone. 2) the vegan eggs Benedict on falafel was so perfectly savoury and delicious, as someone eating vegan and gluten free, I haven’t had something that covers my dietary restrictions taste so good in a long time. 3) the portion sizes!!! The quesadilla my family had was enormous, the side salads were huge! Amazing to have leftovers for later and even though we ate a lot, we didn’t feel gross after (which we often do with other places) because the ingredients were so clean. The staff were so kind and the restaurant gives cute earthy vibes. Hands down will be going back! (Wish we got photos to share!)
Picked up a gluten free lunch today, $30 for 1 meal is kinda ridiculous. I got pasta with the burger and it was an added $8 up charge to get a small portion of gross pasta. The pasta was horrible, very clearly reheated (not well) and definitely a day or 2 old. I could have made Kraft dinner that tasted better than their barely reheated pasta. I don’t know if they changed chefs but their pasta used to be amazing. Very disappointing
I would NOT recommend this place. Had a gluten free waffle and it was cold and so dry I asked for a second tablespoon of syrup to choke it down. We got charged an extra 2 dollars for the tablespoon of syrup. Grossly overpriced for really second rate food. Next time will go local and Canadian. Would not even give one star! 🇨🇦

The gluten free options were diverse and plentiful, including deserts. Food was excellent. The service came with snark. The atmosphere was intrusively load- music was repeatedly turned up to the point even the server said she couldn't hear anything. I have been there before and food has always been good, service previously was attentive and pleasant, and the atmosphere quiet enough for conversation.
Fpr the chill coffee crowd. Its a smaller place but its cozy atmosphere invites you to sit and chill for a while. There are good desserts for the gluten free as well as regular. The teas a lovely and aromatic and their staff is nice. A place to go if you just want to sit and chill, with a friend or by yourself.
Parking is a natural challenge by the fact that its in Kensington, nut the walk to the cafe is worth it even on the cold days.
The menu is small and typical pu. food. I was able to get a gluten-free bun for my cheese burger, even though gluten-free was not mentioned on the menu.
It does have accessible washrooms, but none of the restaurant chairs have arms, so a person who has difficulty getting out of a chair may have a problem.
Gluten free deliciousness
While away on a trip I had a hankering for a treat, being a little homesick I was delighted to see a taste from home, especially knowing there was gluten free options. The owner is very kind and will even let you know which flavors are gluten free over the phone which is amazing service. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again Omar!
These are the flavours that contain gluten:
Cookies and cream
Cookie Monster
Cheesecake
Tiramisu
I had a wonderful dining experience at Levilla. The service was impeccable, and the food exceeded my expectations. For the appetizer, I chose the baked brie with freshly baked bread, which was outstanding. The brie was soft, with a perfect balance of savory and sweet, complementing the warm bread beautifully.
For the main course, I opted for the seafood Bucatini, and although I forgot to take a picture, it was truly exceptional. The sauce was rich and creamy, and the seafood was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection.
An added bonus is the ample parking, which eliminates the hassle of finding or paying for parking—a small but appreciated detail. I highly recommend Levilla for its diverse menu, expertly crafted dishes, and excellent service.
Not to mention there also a gluten free option 😉
First-time visitor. I was absolutely blown away by the quality and flavour of the little pies I purchased. Spinach and feta hand pie was stuffed with flavourful filling in a delicate butter pastry crust. The quiche was, bar none, absolutely the best quiche I have EVER tasted. The filling was very soft and delicate and tasted sublime. I also purchased a mini pear custard pie foe dessert, lovely, but I would try a different flavour next time. There is a good selection of all kinds of interesting looking varieties of both sweet and savory treats. I plan to go back, even though it is quite out of my way.
They have a Frozen section to take home for later. They can make any pie gluten-free. I was told with 24 hours' notice.
If you look at the pies individually, you might think they are quite expensive and you would be right. But you could spend at least that much at MacDonalds or A&W and not get anywhere near the taste or quality of food. Looked at that way, they are a bargain. Even though it is 100km away, I will be back. Well worth a visit.
I had a rather frustrating experience at this location today. I have a gluten allergy and specifically called ahead to verify there were multiple menu items that I would be safe to eat. Over the phone I was assured there were many options. When I was there today with a group of friends, I found out my options were extremely limited. My server did do her diligence to check what would be available for me and it was suggested the artichoke and spinach dip. She then returned apologizing saying that the chips that came with it were not actually gluten friendly. In the end all I ended up with was a salad. The salad was tasty, but the options available were very disappointing when I specifically called to verify, and then to be told I could have something, then told wait no, never mind was frustrating. If you are celiac I would be cautious about dining here.
Love ReGrub! I would eat here more often if it wasn't so expensive for me and my family, and if the bathrooms were closer. I love it because I can have a gluten free bun, and dairy free cheese, AND A DAIRY FREE MILKSHAKE! One of the few fastfood places I can join in the fun. My kids loved playing the old-school Nintendo placed by the kitchen. So cool

This lovely little cafe is unassuming from the outside, but is sweet and lovely inside. The food is incredible and also has gluten-free/friendly options. There’s a certificate up on the wall in German that someone went to German pastry school, and it shows in the delicious food. The best part is it’s very affordable!! HIGHLY recommend this hidden treasure!

Checked out the brunch menu - great avocado toast... Gluten Free options and looking forward to going back to try out the pasta and dessert menu! Really great service and great value for the quality & quantity!
There are sooo many options to choose from. There is likely something for everyone! They were able to accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free options without any fuss. Great service by Dhruv! Very friendly, accommodationing, and happy to help us.
