Totale Pizzeria Saldanha: Vegan Pizza in Lisbon, Portugal We found the cozy and quaint Totale Pizzeria near our hotel, The Moxy, right on time as cravings for a delicious vegan pizza had intensified. You can dine inside the intimate eatery or outside while enjoying Portugal’s lovely spring weather. More importantly, Totale has a vegan-specific menu with the following dishes: - Vegan Caesar Salad featuring spinach, cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds, courgette, herbed vegan chicken, and vegan mayo Falafel Croquettes served with hummus and poopy seeds - Vegan Truffell Pizza made with Italian porcini mushrooms, almond mozzarella, truffle sauce, and arugula -   Enchanted Garden Pizza consisting of San Marzano tomato sauce, almond mozzarella, braised peppers, fresh mushrooms, red onions, herbed vegan chicken, and black olive pate We ordered the freshly made Truffell Pizza and everything else, but will return soon for the Enchanted Garden. Additionally, Totale allows you to choose your crust: thin, gluten-free, or even ginger-spiced. Well done!

I emailed them to find out in advance if they could accommodate my allergies and about cross contamination and they emailed back " Dear Paulina,  Thank you for reaching out.  We would very much like to have you, and there are a few options on our menu that might be suitable, but we are afraid that our production environment may not be 100% safe for your requirements, as we have only one area where everything is prepared. Thus, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross contamination. We don't have a certified gluten-free kitchen, and even with the attention and rigor we put in our operation, we fear that the risk may be unacceptable for you."

All very good, several GLUTEN FREE options. Very nice atmosphere, very cool place with live music. 100% recommended. Price between €25/€30 per head.

The customer service here is exceptional. Everyone who greeted us, seated us, waited on us, and helped us were so friendly and helpful and paid attention to detail. They have gluten free options that aren't necessarily listed on the menu. We had a special spring menu and the chicken wings were made gluten free for me. We also enjoyed the biggest fudge brownie sundae I've ever seen in my life. The food was delicious and we left very full. Being a tourist destination, the prices are higher than usual so that's something to be mindful of ahead of time. Overall a great experience.
