Massimo is always amazing! The food is delicious, incredible authentic Italian, with a full gluten free menu! The staff is attentive and so friendly, especially the Manager Anna, who always greets us warmly and welcomes us back. I went for the special Irish breakfast on a weekday shortly before St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef dinner knocked my socks off with how smooth it was! Just really commendable that a special could be so perfect. And for just $25! Sat at the chef’s counter and saw the care and cooperation with which dishes were being prepared. Server was friendly, charming, and knowledgeable about gluten restrictions.
Service did seem a tad disorganized. I noticed plates sit on the counter for maybe 3-5 minutes before they went to tables.

We have been coming to Pianta since they first opened. Consistently excellent food and service. No problem getting gluten-free food at the restaurant. Service staff is efficient, pleasant and seems to enjoy what they are doing. Met the chef today - she is terrific.

They're raw oysters were so fresh and flavorful. They were very clean, not gritty or briny.
Updating my review with some photos. We went hard on the APPY HOUR deals. I forgot to snap pictures of the oysters...again! I was just enjoying them too much. I got the diver scallops done Oscar's style, which they altered to fit my gluten free diet. My husband got the Shrimp Cocktail and Lobster Bisque, the Bisque needed more sherry and they could be a little more generous with the Lobster. All he got was that tiny little bit in the photo. Shrimp Cocktail is not worth it.
