My dad and I traveled from Tennessee and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Another Broken Egg. We visit ABE locations wherever we go, but we were particularly impressed with the aesthetics and vibe of the Daytona Beach restaurant. Amanda, the manager, greeted us personally and was very friendly. Our server, Amber, provided attentive and kind service. The food was fantastic, and I especially appreciated the available gluten-free options. This experience was a highlight of our trip, and I'm truly grateful to the team for their excellent service! I got a flavored coffee and a blueberry muffin.
The blueberry muffin was completely flavorless, like they missed the sugar completely.
I called the store to let them know, they connected me to another coffee shop, but not in Daytona.
I actually called to see if I accidentally picked up a gluten-free muffin because it had no flavor.
My husband and I were looking for a casual intercoastal spot with a waterfront view to enjoy on a Friday night. The menu offered a great variety for seafood lovers, but as a vegetarian, my choices were limited to a salad or side dishes—no veggie or black bean burger options, which was a bit disappointing. That said, I ordered the macaroni and cheese with added broccoli, and it was absolutely delicious. Still, sometimes I’d just love the option of a sandwich rather than having to piece together a meal from sides.
My husband, who is gluten-free, had the blackened fish and said it was spicy and flavorful.
The service was excellent. Our server checked in midway through the meal, refilled our drinks without us asking, and offered dessert promptly after we finished eating. When we declined, the check was brought right away, making for a smooth dining experience.
As for the atmosphere, it was calm and quiet—more subdued than we were hoping for on a Friday night. There was no live music, although the lights strung around the deck added a nice touch. We sat at picnic tables, which were fine for a meal but not ideal for lingering over drinks due to their lack of comfort.
What a wonderful Tuesday morning. Apparently they were short staffed today but you would never know ! Jill W was our waitress at the bar and let me tell you what a delight! You could tell she really connected with her guests and even had her regulars orders memorized. I have Celiac and ordered the skillet with GF toast and forgot to say no gravy, well Ashley the manger who was helping send food out saw my GF toast on the plate and before adding gravy came over to confirm ! She saved my day … literally. They were working their butts off and keeping a calm enjoyable environment. I am very impressed. Oh and the food.. Amazingggggggggggg 🤤
We came here to get away from the crowds in Daytona after a cheer competition. It got a great review on a gluten free finding app and our cheerleader needs gluten free (celiac). They have a separate gluten free menu. Our daughter ordered mahi mahi with the Malibu topping and she loved it. Our waitress Kayla was super sweet and knowledgeable. She even helped us research a good local ice cream shop when we were paying our check.
First, my order was not correct. I was there for a quick dinner so I let it go. I wanted corn tortillas and got flour instead. I ordered plantains but was charged for flautas. Not even something I would ever order as I am gluten free for the most part. Was not charged for plantains so figured I was even being charged for flautas instead.
This was a great little cafe, first time eating here; my dad, stepmom, and I visited while on vacation, and I hope to return the next time I'm in town.
Loved the decor and ambiance inside...and the smells; so cinnamon-y! Lots of great food and drink choices; as well as plenty of fresh baked pasteries and desserts on display. The staff is very friendly and quite efficient, and seem to work well together in such a busy and energetic environment.
I very much enjoyed the Chorizo crepe, as did my dad, and my stepmom equally enjoyed her gouda, bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The food was hot and tasty, and filled us up well!
Cinnamon Tree also offers plenty of healthy options including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free.
I highly recommend making a stop!
We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and accommodating! I have a gluten allergy and they go out of their way to make sure I’m taken care of. The service here is ALWAYS and continues to be wonderful!
This was our second visit to this Portuguese restaurant and once again the food was excellent, the staff friendly and prompt, the chef happy to accommodate my gluten free needs and who can fault half price wine with lunch!
