Great place for me sense I'm gluten free. They take great care to avoid cross contamination. The best one in the area.

We were regulars at the NSB McKenna's for years but recently moved from New Smyrna closer to Daytona so we finally tried the Port Orange McKenna's. It's one of our favorite places in New Smyrna (we'd usually go at least once a month) so we had high expectations. The menus are very similar and most of our regulars were there. While I had never been to Port Orange McKenna's the spot itself is very nostalgic because I grew up in Port Orange and went there for years when it was Beef O Brady's. Anyway, over all the food was good. They did accidentally make me the gluten free chicken which were definitely not as good as the regular chicken tenders but I understand things happen. They offered to remake them but I didn't want them to be out on the cost of the first batch. The Gouda cheese is something I've order for years with my fries at the NSB location but I didn't personally like the one at the Port Orange location, my fiance did. Again these are all understandable things. The main issue for us was being told we could substitute a cup of soup as a side and then being charged an extra $6 for it without our consent. When the bill came we explained the soup shouldn't be any additional charge as it was included as a side with one of our meals per the first waitress who took our order (she actually went out of her way to suggest we didn't get more fries which is what we had actually asked for). The second waitress said no that was not correct we now owe an additional $6. I was really frustrated at this point and I explained then we did not get a side with one of our meals at all. Additionally we would not have ordered the soup at all as an al a cart item, we were told it was included which is why we ordered it. She made no attempt to make it right what so ever. Outwardly the entire ordeal has an appearance of dishonesty however I know this was not the intention. This should not be the way customers are handled during a misunderstanding caused by the restaurant. We will for sure not be regulars at this location like we had hoped.

My family eats at Red Robin with some regularity as it's typically friendly for those with celiac disease, which my wife suffers from. We've ordered takeout from here the past two weeks through the Red Robin website and our order, both times was messed up badly (i.e. requesting a lettuce wrap and instead receiving a bun) which essentially renders my wife's meal inedible. Additionally asking for crispy fries yielded limp, undercooked spuds (insert sad trombone noises here). Finally had enough and called to complain, manager was friendly and apologized effusively, said he'd refund our order, and after some technical difficulties, said he had to call back as he couldn't figure it out. He called back, apologized again, and offered to send a gift card to comp the meal, which I thought was a fine solution. Where I get further irked is that the gift card was $40. Our meal was close to $65. I appreciate the gesture and wasn't really looking for anything, but if you tell me you're going to refund the meal and then send a lesser amount via gift card...c'mon, that's just fumbling the bag.

The service was REMARKABLE, place really clean, food tasty and they played that old school alternative rock which I love!!! I can’t get over how amazing this place is!!! My 15 year old said this is his new go to place and he’s very particular about his food so that’s saying a lot!!! Lol oh and they also have gluten free options… 10/10 RECOMMEND!!!

Burgers are not a food I go after much. It's a tough one for food allergies. I was surprised to learn that this location offers a gluten free bread that is also egg and dairy free. You can eat a burger here like a normal person. The alternate bread is not bad. The fries here are dense. It's the first time I can't finish the fries. I feel like many come here for the custard treats. My Mom loved her scoop.
