A wonderful, tasty place on the map of Krakow. I am full of admiration for the passion and consistency in the production of cakes and cookies. Every celiac can feel safe here and taste the delicious products baked by the owner. I highly recommend it, let's support it because there are few such places in Poland!
I really loved the coziness of this cafe! The food is beyond delicious.. and they offer plenty of gluten free options and sweets.. they have indoor and outdoor seatings .. the staff were very sweet and friendly
I need to eat vegan and gluten-free and this place satisfied this request. The menu was very large and I was embarrassed to choose.
In the end I chose chickpea bread and lentil soup; to drink kambucha. The flavors are exceptional; the staff very kind and the strategic location, a few steps from the famous castle. I chose well and I will return.
I went to this place for a gluten-free dinner. I had a sandwich served with chips next to it and I have to say that I have never had such good chips. The gluten free bread wasn't bad.
I am a regular customer of the restaurant and every time I am delighted! Delicious food, a huge plus for the gluten-free menu, beautiful interior and very professional service. Dishes beautifully served and always fresh. I recommend :)
Food was quite tasty but expensive, being on the main square.
One of our party is celiac, and although he chose the gluten free dessert they still put biscuits in it 😞 had to send it back. Doesn't install confidence 😕
I had a delicious gluten free breakfast here and smoothie! When I asked questions about the toast (shared toaster?) she was very helpful inquiring further about my allergy and saying it's toasted on a pan. Definitely! Such a cute restaurant too with a great vibe.
Super delicious food!
The dishes are delicious and artfully presented. Many dishes can easily be adapted to suit celiac disease, which makes the visit very pleasant.
As a vegetarian, I opted for a combination of side dishes – creative and delicious!
The ambiance is very nice, the service friendly and attentive, and the prices absolutely reasonable. I'll be back!
We had very plentiful breakfast here. Everything was delicious. We had fried eggs and omelettes, salmon, avokado, gluten free bread, tea, coffee, croissant. Definitely advise to have a visit here.
Great restaurant with great food and friendly staff. The food was amazing and catered for my celiac partner with gluten free pasta and the fries and roast potatoes were to. Would highly recommend 👌
A very interesting place, near the market square, off the beaten path. Close to the Bagatela theater. Food on Krupnicza is coffee and food. Cakes, including gluten-free and vegan ones, tarts, soups and main courses, are all prepared here on site. The lunch menu changes daily, depending on the availability of ingredients. Coffee is brought to the table. And most importantly, it is not a "network".
We visited this place because of the boyfriend who cannot eat gluten. Bistro Kryjówka has gluten-free options in its menu (e.g. pasta and steak). We also chose pork chop, burger and ribs. All dishes are delicious! Very large portions. Prices are very affordable for Zakopane.
We happened to walk past here in the afternoon because we had a tour of the city. So we walked here in the evening without making a reservation, and we were immediately well received. The waiter's name was Christian and he was super polite and helped a lot! Also recommended for gluten-free because there were many options!
Healthy and vegetarian food place, with vegan and gluten-free options. Very good, cozy and cheap.
The service is very fast (the dishes that need cooking are indicated, with a maximum wait of 15 minutes).
There is no table service. Nice staff.
Fantastic for celiacs and vegetarians.
We're celiacs and we had some really good burgers. The gluten-free bun was perfectly adapted. They didn't take long to serve, so it was a great meal on the terrace.
Great time spent. In a charming place ⛲️. Service 🔝 Food 👍 we ate burgers and sweet potato cream (gluten-free). One of the 🍔 gluten-free dishes prepared especially for us without a bun (delicious). And finally 💣 Delicious Meringue Pavlova……. I won't write it anyway, you have to try it yourself 😀
When I asked the staff if they had anything gluten-free, I heard that they didn't, but later, looking at the menu where the rest of the team was already eating something, I saw that it was possible... I think the staff should go to training.
Visited for brunch! Both had the English breakfast! One was made gluten free which is so refreshing to find somewhere that caters for coeliacs, the food was delicious! All the staff were really friendly & polite..
definitely worth a visit!!
Amazing food. We returned for the shakshouka a second time. Coffee was unbeatable and my caramel latte was delicious and foamy. Highly recommend for excellent food, service and value. They even had GF bread and options for coeliacs👌🏻
Came across this place on the app “find me GF”, there was only 2/3 options that were GF but it was worth it! The waitress was very nice and understanding, my partner speaks Polish but she saw that I don’t and was super friendly and had a very good English and managed to accommodate my gluten intolerance. I had the duck and it was unbelievable! My partner had the Pierogi and the Bigos and he said it was one of the best pierogi he has ever had and the Bigos was amazing as well! Highly recommend 👌🏻
Being gluten intolerant I was able to eat gluten-free pasta upstairs.
The restaurant has a beautiful view of the park at the top, I recommend you go there even if you don't eat there!
In the photo, pear and Gorgonzola gnocchi, delicious!
Everything was excellent, even the service.
Gluten-free options available (pasta too, but no dessert).
Always smiling waiters.
Great place, found completely by accident. As a person on a gluten- and dairy-free diet, I usually have nothing to eat, even in large cities. Very nice service. The prices are also very friendly nowadays. I definitely recommend it!
Food was good, I was happy that they had a few gluten free options, I had the savory buckwheat galette with spinach and goat cheese. Would have given them 5 stars but the waitresses seemed a bit overly stressed
Polonia Restaurant is a place with tradition, which has been an important point on the culinary map of Krakow for years. Fantastically located - at the intersection of Basztowa and Pawia streets, right next to Galeria Krakowska and Słowacki Theatre - it attracts both tourists and residents looking for classic Polish cuisine in a stylish environment.
The interior of the restaurant is maintained in a traditional style, which creates a unique atmosphere and allows you to feel the spirit of old Krakow. The menu based on Polish cuisine classics is well thought out and refined - the dishes are tasty, carefully prepared and elegantly served.
The service deserves words of praise - polite, competent and open to the needs of guests. On request, the kitchen prepares gluten-free dishes, which proves great flexibility and professional approach.
Although the prices are not the lowest, they are fully justified by the quality, location and atmosphere of this place. Polonia Restaurant is a great choice for a family dinner, business meeting or elegant dinner. I recommend it with full conviction!
Loved it there! It was very good food and good music too. We got free arabic chai 😍 I asked abiut gluten free otions nad they were well informed and cooperative 💕💕
Super meal here last week. Had pork loin with mash and cabbage which was excellent. There were good gluten free options including a flavoursome fillet steak . The desserts were spectacular - spiced pear in white chocolate sauce and a testy apple crumble. The wine list was a little pricey but a good range of wines available - went for a South African chenin blanc that was really refreshing! Service was good from initial enquiry about gluten free options right throughout the meal. We sat outside but the inside and downstairs gives a glimpse into the original architecture of the building. As an added bonus there is an excellent bookshop adjacent to the restaurant
Very nice service and delicious food. I highly recommend the duck breast for the main course and the gluten-free brownie for dessert. Even the vegetables are delicious here. Very high quality of both food and service.
The only minus - the amount of meat in the main courses; given the high prices, we were counting on slightly larger portions.
Beautiful location with a great wine list, exceptional food and enthusiastic & professional staff.
And they took pains to ensure that the celiac dining in our party was accommodated.
The gluten-free bread was outstanding!
Delicious food at an affordable price, nice atmosphere, nice decor, great owners. The cook prepares gluten-free food upon request. I heartily recommend it!

Very cosy place. Easy parking. Can be full in high season around noon time, so maybe booking a table in advance helps. You can pay with card of course. They have gluten free options. They Sauerkraut soup was amazing: a big portion with tenderly cooked meat.
