I went here today with 6 members of my family. We had a great waitress, she was very friendly and attentive. We all got something different as far as our meals, and everyone was saying their food was delicious. One of us had the gluten-free pancakes. She said they were great. I got the Fried Chicken Salad. It was very good. My only complaint is that the bowl they serve it in is not user-friendly. While it is nice to look at and makes the food aesthetically appealing, you can't lay your fork and knife on the edge as you do when you're eating. 🫤 I had a great cup of coffee, and others had Mimosas. The restaurant was busy the entire time we were there. There wasn't a spare table, and people were sitting at the bar. But, the service is quick and the flow of people was moving quickly. We all agreed we will go back soon.
Jeremy was a fantastic server! We have a gluten allergy and they did their best to help us with any questions we had and notified the kitchen of the allergy. We will definitely be back!

Robert was the BEST server I’ve had in a long time! He took very good care of our table of Celiacs and also took a second to train another new employee about allergies! A true treasure!
Gluten -Free & Almond free options were great! We ordered a Bacon Egg& Cheese Waffle Sandwich (sub bacon w/vegan sausage); and Cheese Quesadilla w/ Vegan Sausage. the cashiers are friendly.
Everything was excellent, and the waitstaff was very helpful, considering we have a daughter with a gluten intolerance but wanted some sort of pasta but not with a red sauce.
Everyone was satisfied and full, and we took leftovers@
Very tasty BBQ in vibrant Five Points Columbia! Nice selection of sides. Some meats and sides were out during our visit. Good drinks and wonderful service. Took our gluten and onion allergies seriously. Loved having a huge selection of sauces right on the table.
Free onsite parking. Lots of food and shopping nearby. Safe area with lots of activity.
Didn't get to spend as much time as we wanted here for our Anniversary dinner....had to catch a show. But there was a large selection of meats and good variety at the salad bar. Had a few disappointing items...but probably just not our taste preference.
Got there a little after it opened for the evening, so quickly seated and everything looked perfect and fresh at the salad bar.
Parking was ample and was able to park right at front door.
Bathrooms were very nice and clean.
Everything is wheelchair accessible, and plenty of room to maneuver.
Didn't see any young children, but I'd say there's enough variety to satisfy every age...especially if you just wanted to order the hot/cold salad bar.
We ordered the creme brulee for dessert and before it came out...our waitress brought out the chocolate flour less cake for our Anniversary =) Wasn't expecting that really. Was very sweet of them. Both desserts were amazing!!!
The chocolate cake is gluten-free also, so that was a plus. Plenty selection for those with allergies and those on special diets/food preferences.
Would love to come back when we have more time to relax and really enjoy everything here.
I have been to Coa twice now with my friends and Dan is a wonderful server. He always makes sure we are taken care of, that we are having a great time, and that everything comes out perfect! My friend has a gluten allergy and he always make sure that anything she orders is gluten free without us even asking! He is a wonderful guy all around and if you go to Coa, Dan is the Man!! Other than the excellent service, I am never disappointed by the amazing food they always have. I love their rice, dobladitas, and my partner fell in love with their off the menu Birria tacos. The drinks are also super well made and they pack a punch so watch out! All in all, Coa is a must if you live or are visiting the Columbia area.
Went 1st time last night. Love the atmosphere... they were playing Sinatra, soft jazz, etc when we got there. Bumped up to more contemporary, but not too loud, which was great for conversation. We ordered the 1lb mussels w/Thai chili...YUM! And Beef Borganion...good but could've used more wine. Tuesdays are 25% off bottles of wine. Nice surprise. I do wish there was a goat dish on the menu! The duck tacos were fabulous (& Gluten free if matters for you). We will be going back! OP (or Opie?) the owner and Johanna or server were very gracious!
