Had breakfast here with my family.. I have coeliac disease.. it was delicious!!! Would definitely return back when we are in the area! Highly recommend!! A beautiful atmosphere aswell! 👌
This place was hands down amazing! Everything we ate was phenomenal. Coeliac heaven and just amazing. Everything inside the shop was so unique and well designed. Please come and open a shop in Melbourne- we would love you!
A girl called Shaila went through the menu with me and helped me sort through what I could eat as someone whose allergic to gluten. No complaints, will be coming back soon!
Terrible service. Staff running around, trying to find tables and orders. Took 15 minutes to get a glass of water
I placed an order at the front counter, staff missed they I asked the burger to be on Gluten Free bread. Then made me pay the $1.50 extra.
No serviettes on the table
Asked for the sauce that I asked for with the chips, to which they also said that I would need to pay for the sauce as it wasn’t put through the order either.
Finally got my burger and had paid for cheese. Got no cheese. Asked for no onion, got onion. Staff had no care factor. Won’t be back
If you are gluten free you have to go here!! You can tell that the pasta and pizza bases are so freshly made they both just melt in your mouth!! The bolognese is so flavourful and the mushroom pizza is the perfect balance with the caramelised onions and mushrooms!! But if there is 1 thing to get is the tiramisu it is the most fluffy and creamy tiramisu I’ve ever had and it’s gluten free!!!

Huge variety of interesting teas for sale and for tasting. Homemade dishes for morning or afternoon teas and lunch. Plenty of options for gluten free dietary needs. Friendly, helpful staff. High teas available too. Definitely recommend
Delicious food and a great view of Cotton Tree beach. Almost the entire menu is gluten free as corn flour is traditional Mexican. We had the best crumbed calamari in town, as well as delish breadfruit and shrimp avo Mango salad. Yummmm
Absolutely love the Coca Bar!!
The food is amazing, with plenty of gluten free options available.
They have the best coffee on the Sunshine Coast and the staff are awesome!
I love Junk. It's one of my favourite restaurants.
They have a great deal of gluten free options. Food is delicious.
The cocktails are a bit pricey but they're are delicious.
I left feeling extremely disappointed with the experience. The food fell well short of expectations, especially considering the price point. The gluten-free bread seemed store-bought, highly processed, and noticeably poor in quality. It was served with just half an avocado and a few mixed lettuce leaves — a combination that hardly warrants a $20 price tag. It’s unfortunate, as I had hoped for a far better standard.
Absolutely beautiful Thai food, possibly the best I've had. I'm coeliac but the amount of GF items on the menu are amazing. Definitely coming back again 😁
I am not someone to write negative reviews, however we were so disappointed with our experience here. I had really been looking forward to going, as I had heard great reviews from when they were in Mooloolaba..and as a person with coeliac disease I always get excited with wholefood cafes that have a big range of GF fresh food. The menu looked good online. I was disappointed with the rainbow bowl I received..the purple cabbage & stir-fried vegetables unfortunately weren't fresh & almost looked to be out of a supermarket package. There was a tiny spoon of quinoa drenched in a sauce. The mushroom on top was nice, however that was all I really ate..& I am someone who almost never leaves an empty plate :( Maybe our expectations were too high, or we just happened to come on a bad day, but we unfortunately won't be going back sorry.

I know you have to pay a lot more for good fresh seafood but quantity never replaces quality. Yesterday I was served the worst Seafood Platter ever, dominated by chips! Why doesn’t $34 simply buy you a smaller quantity of fresh local seafood. The only fresh items on plate were the 2 prawns. The scallops without beards were smothered in a commercial sauce & the fish was out of a packet. I was embarrassed as I had suggested Maroochy Surf Club for our party of 6. The seniors meals were also substandard as the fish and chips were also out of a packet. My gluten-free friend struggled to find a meal. If the Europeans can be more inclusive, why can’t we in Australia. In pubs in the UK, we were never served fish that wasn’t fresh and there were numerous gluten free choices. Sadly the broad Australian community have accepted a huge decline in standards or are not of an age when they know the taste of fresh fish!
I am sadly that person who is gluten intolerant and lactose intolerant blah blah .I ordered home delivery over the phone because I couldn't work out the app ..Luca and then tonight Marlin were so patient ,kind and courteous .
The pizza was delicious , I can't recommend Domino's Maroochydore highly enough☺️☺️
Our food was good. We ordered the prawn pizza, arancini balls and gluten free prawn pasta. My lunch was the lunch special of two courses for $35. Unfortunately we had to request our drinks and water was not refilled when glasses were empty.
Fantastic fresh made gelato. Gelato, sorbet, dairy free, and gluten free options.
Delicious flavours.
They also make ice cream cakes, very elaborate ones
We had the absolute best experience at Orleans! Hands down, they had the most gluten-free options we’ve ever seen on a menu — and not just the usual “salad with no croutons” either. They take real care when it comes to coeliacs, with separate fryers and a team that truly understands the importance of cross-contamination.
A special shoutout to Yasmin (apologies if I’ve butchered the spelling!) — she was gorgeous in every sense. Warm, welcoming, and went the extra mile to make us feel special. Honestly, she was an absolute delight and made the night even better.
The food? Incredible. We were blown away. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and safe to eat without a second thought. Couldn’t have asked for a better night out — we’ll be raving about it for a long time!

Visiting from Adelaide, served by a really lovely lady who made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options we ate. The food was delicious and good sized portions. Didn’t take too long to come out either. Overall nice experience, would come again.
I’ve had a few experiences with gnocchi gnoochi brothers in Maroochydore and I can honestly not fault their customer service, the staff are exceptional the food is delicious and as a coeliac it is so lovely to go somewhere with so many gluten free options. The music the location and environment are amazing as well.
Quick service, good portion size, food was quite good, and they had lots of gluten-free options (vegetarian too, but that didn't apply to us). Not fine dining, but perfect for us.
Average and overpriced.
5$ charge for one mushroom , burnt coffee, dirty cutlery, eggs Benny has two options to accompany them, I chose mushrooms, and the chik at the counter was also charging me for this as well, but when I mentioned the menu Includes the item, she was good to remove the charge...
I mentioned I was celiac, and they didn't know what this was, so this was concerning to me 🥲 despite this, I was fine and the flavours in food were pretty yum
View is nice and relaxing, good spot.
10 out of 5 stars!! This place is hands down the best restaurant I've been to on the coast. And the best seafood I've had in QLD ☺
Excellent service, fresh seafood full of flavour & presented beautifully. Yummy drinks. Hubby & I had a wonderful time here & the Sunday oyster specials were fabulous.
Lots of gluten free options. Lovely helpful staff. Can't wait to come back!!!
Tried Chomp yesterday after accidentally stumbling upon it, so damn good. Thought they'd fluked it.. so I went back this afternoon and took my girlfriend.. They nailed burger number two.
I'm also coeliac, got gluten free, and didn't get sick. The staff have the skills to prepare gluten free which is great.
I definitely recommend Chomp burger.. unless you don't like burgers or good service, then don't go there.
Food is really good and fresh. I really recommend the orange and almond muffins they are gluten free, and you would never know that as they taste amazing.

I had a wonderful experience with Tome, from the day I ordered my wedding cakes, to collection day. We went through my needs and number of guest to order the right sizes.
I ordered gluten free Nutella chocolate and vanilla and a second cake of lemon and orange blossom. They looked absolutely gorgeous, tasted incredible and I've never seen guests demolish a wedding cake so quickly! Absolutely enjoyed by everyone.
We arrived at Market Bistro with the intention of celebrating a birthday, which the staff had been informed of prior to our arrival. From the beginning the service was off; the man that led us to our table seemed to dislike us for some inexplicable reason. We waited for quite some time to have our drink and food orders taken.
When the drinks arrived, the did not ask who ordered which drink, instead placing the drinks in front of the wrong person, and mocking us for the issue whilst we moved our drinks to the correct person.
Our entrees arrived about 30 minutes after we received our drinks. Again they handed the entrees to the wrong people, and seemed annoyed at us for the issue.
We waited patiently for our mains, which took far too long to arrive. Both tables on either side of us arrived 30+ minutes after us, with the same number of guests, and yet were served their entrees and mains long before us.
We were there for over an hour and a half waiting for our mains, and yet did not receive even a refill on water, and we were ignored the entire time.
Throughout the meals, we were not offered more water or drinks, and we were not asked how the meals were or if we needed anything, whilst the tables on either side of us received such service from the same waiter.
During our meal we had a number of bugs flying into our drinks and food (we were inside) including a moth and a fly.
We also saw people receiving birthday services such as cake, whilst we were not offered anything of the sort.
The food was sub par at best. The mains were bland, the chargrilled octopus was far too chewy, the potatoes were far too fatty. We also ordered a meal gluten free, however the member of our party who consumed that meal soon fell sick as there was obviously some kind of gluten in the meal. We also saw staff tripping over chairs and hitting customers on the head as they passed.
Once finishing our mains, it was difficult to get the attention of any staff member to get our bill. When we finally received the bill, we had to double check that we had not been overcharged as they attempted to serve us certain sides twice.
During the entire experience, we felt ignored and discriminated against. We were the youngest people in the restaurant and frankly, it seemed that we were being discriminated against and underserviced purely because we were young, and they assumed we did not have the money to be their, despite there being a number of other guests who were dressed far worse than us.
When went to the desk to pay, they assumed we would be splitting the bill, which honestly felt like an insult. At no point were we asked how our meals were, or how the service was.
We spent $365, which was paid on a single card, as frankly we have more than enough money to do so, and yet the entire time we were treated as if that were not the case. They even questioned if we really wanted what we were getting due to the prices.
Never in my life have I received such disgusting, discriminatory service, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I'd love to know the genuine reason for such behaviour, as it was completely unwarranted and unwelcome. Such a poor way to celebrate a birthday and finish off our holiday.
Sip is easy to get to, good parking available and it's very pretty and open inside.
There's a great selection of both traditional and more unique drinks. I ordered a matcha and it tasted a bit odd, as though there was ginger powder in it so not sure if that's standard or maybe they almost put in the wrong drink?
The menu has a few unique dishes too like the sweet potato with chilli jam and many traditional meals like eggs/bacon/sourdough toast. I found it a bit difficult to find something gluten free for lunch though. I have lots of allergies including garlic which made it difficult as well. I ordered a toasty but unfortunately it had garlic (as did all the flavour options). My fault for not asking though, so I went to buy another meal and the frittata looked good but again had the garlic aioli.
The chef came out to help and all the staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to find something I could eat, and offered me a freshly made frittata slice without the aioli, free of charge.
Really appreciated!
I needed a gluten free, dairy free take away sandwich. It was absolutely no trouble for the lovely waitress who took my order.
Sandwich arrived quickly, was as per my order & delicious.
Thank you Shingle Inn Sunshine Plaza for the excellent service & looking after those of us who can't just pop into a standard take away place for a meal, due to allergies. Life saver!
As with all Woolworths, Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore has ample free parking and conveniently situated across from Woolworths. Has a pharmacy, newsagent and a very good gluten free health food shop next door. As well there is one of the best bakery's I've ever been to, with the best meatpies, sausage rolls and beautiful sourdough bread I've ever tasted.
