If you’re here, you likely have a business that you are interested in growing. Maybe it’s small, maybe it’s large.  You might just be getting started, or you may have a long history of success.  No matter what your situation, marketing is an essential part of any business.

And, I want to help you with it.  My mission is to help creative people build successful businesses…yes, you are a creative person; everyone is.  If you are an artist, or a creator of some sort, this is probably not a stretch for you, but you can be creative in any industry.  

In fact, being creative is essential in today’s business world.  Anyone who continues to do the same old thing is ultimately going to be left behind.  Erik Wahl, author of Unthink: Rediscover your Creative Genius, addresses this in his book when addressing the question why most companies are not prepared for the future.  “Because necessity is the mother of invention, and most companies don’t view creativity as a necessity until they are desperate for it”.

So we’ve established:

I’ve worked in marketing for 25+ years.  I’ve been on the company side, marketing national programs. I worked for a large dot-com at the exciting infancy of the dot-com boom, and I worked for the largest independent media agency in the world developing online programs/strategies for Fortune 500 companies.  For the last 13 years, I’ve been a partner in a company that we grew organically (no outside financial investment) from start-up to be named to the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America…for five consecutive years.

Over the years I’ve learned a fair amount about effectively marketing a business.  I feel like I understand what works, and what doesn’t.  I want to share this with you to help you build your business, and I like to do so in a very pragmatic manner.  You don’t need hype…because, at the end of the day, hype doesn’t work.  You need to understand marketing, and you need to be able to have tasks that you can execute on a regular basis that improves your business.
