Brittany Watson Jepsen
Brittany Watson Jepsen has a BA in Art History and a Master's degree in Interior Design. She studied textile design at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen, Denmark and interned with celebrated designers, Jonathan Adler and Celerie Kemble in NYC.
Brittany started her blog, The House that Lars Built, in graduate school which has since turned into popular DIY and lifestyle blog and receives hundreds of thousands views monthly. She wrote her graduate thesis on social media in design, which included a crowd-sourced thesis paper called Write My Thesis.
In 2010 she moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where she continued work on her blog with a focus on crafts and tutorials. She organized a blogger event called Blog'nhagen where bloggers from around Europe gathered in Copenhagen to experience the city.
Since returning to the US, Brittany has had various speaking opportunities on social media, design, and crafts. She has a paper flower class on Skillshare and teaches workshops around the world. She recently published the online course, DIY Blogger Handbook here on Atly. She freelances as a wardrobe and prop stylist, art director, and designer. She recently released a line of dinnerware with Twig NY and sells products on her Etsy shop.
Her work has been seen on Vogue, CNN, The Today Show, and various other publications.
