Sogho express hair braiding # 2 open

I came here on 8/29 at around 8pm to take out my braids. Overall the shop is fine and I had no issue with the service. My sole issue lies with the light skin lady at the front desk who had a very hostile, rude and nasty attitude from the moment I walked in. All because I let her know the price that was given to me on the phone ($80) is different than what she’s telling me $100. But I actually had no issue with paying, yet she proceeded to call me a liar??? It’s unfortunate that what seems to be a good establishment is ruined by individuals who exhibit poor customer service and behave in a way that affects the customer experience. I will not be going back or recommending anyone to patronize this place as long as that lady works there.

On point service. Place is very clean and decently priced and fast. Took good care of me and I was very comfortable.

I came here yesterday after the salon was recommended to me by a friend. I saw on their official tiktok page that they do boho knotless for $160. I made an appointment for 9:45 AM and my head was not touched until about 10:30 and the lady didn’t start braiding my hair until 11:24. She proceeded to ignore the picture I showed her and everytime I tried to correct her she had an attitude and started huffing and puffing and being rude. She also became more heavy handed everytime I said something. I sat in that chair from 11:24 until 5:52 PM just for boho knotless braids done in a style I did not ask for! On top of this when I went to pay (mind you I paid a $30 deposit online when I made my appointment) the lady at the front told me it was $260. When I told her that it was advertised differently online she became EXTREMELY hostile and told me I was lying then told me I would not be able to leave the salon until I paid the balance which was a joke within itself. And it took me quite literally showing her what THEY ADVERTISED AND calling the owner to rectify the situation. My advice RUN from this salon. The lightskin lady in the front is extremely hostile and disrespectful and should in no way shape or form be dealing with customers. They clearly don’t communicate with each other or have their shit together because they don’t even know the prices they’re advertising. And nobody should be paying for the terrible service they provide. This is WORST experience I’ve ever had at braiding salon and don’t with this on anyone, nor would I ever waste another dime here. Please be ware
