Jungle Adventure and was left quite disappointed by several aspects of the experience.
To begin with, I was surprised to see an 18% gratuity added before the party had even started. Gratuity is typically based on the quality of service received, so being charged upfront—without knowing what kind of service we’d be getting—felt presumptuous and unfair.
Upon arrival, I noticed the party setup was not up to standard. The tablecloth and backdrop were extremely wrinkled and appeared to be reused, which gave a careless and unprofessional impression—especially for a special occasion like a child’s birthday.
Finally, the strict two-hour time limit left no room for flexibility. Once the event ended, guests were rushed out, and even the birthday child wasn’t allowed to enjoy any free play without being charged full price. I understand policies, but some courtesy or flexibility—especially for the child whose party it is—would have gone a long way in improving our experience.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend Jungle Adventure for hosting birthday parties
REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE!!
Vacuuming, wiping down dirty tables, and general upkeep are part of the package WE PAID FOR.
Additionally, the tablecloth provided was very wrinkled and did not look presentable. I was told “sorry we’re working with what we have” I’m happy to send over a clearer photo. The “Happy Birthday” sign was misspelled, which was disappointing and reflected a lack of attention to detail. I can provide a photo of that as well.
No one from your staff took any photos during the party. Your team simply called the kids to the table, and we took all the photos ourselves.
As for the 15 “extra” minutes we were supposedly given, that time was spent discussing the open play issue with you and your staff. It was time taken up by trying to get clarification and advocate for a small courtesy that we feel should have been extended, especially since there was no party scheduled after ours. Also, to be clear, the 10% discount was not something you offered, we asked for it being that we just finished a party and kids wanted to continue playing. That was when your staff said “We are going to give you 10% off for our lack of communication”
Lastly, considering there was no party scheduled after ours, it would have been a gesture to allow the birthday child some complimentary open play time. Small acts like that make a big difference.
Overall, we were disappointed in how things were handled. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that it will be taken seriously and used to improve future customer experiences. People are choosing your business for meaningful moments in their lives — kindness, attention to detail, and accountability should reflect that.
