$ 30.00

Learn to use Illustrator effectively for print design while working on a variety of print projects ranging from business cards to photo cards to calendars.

Instructor Message

Illustrator is an amazing tool for creating compelling print design. In this course, we cover the basics of print design, learning about proper color mode for various printing methods, as well as crucial formatting standards. As we learn to use templates or to create our own print files from scratch, we create a variety of projects including business cards, notecards, invitations, photo cards, and calendars.
Before striking it out on my own as a designer, I worked full-time in the print publishing world and during that time I learned best practices for file preparation. I pride myself in the quality of my files and often hear feedback from print professionals that they are surprised by well my files are set up. I want you to develop and cultivate this same high standard of file preparation!
After taking this course, you will feel confident in your ability to create properly formatted files that are ready to print!
