I’m coeliac and the waffles here are gluten free and some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m obsessed with the waffles. Love this place so much, I keep coming back every time I’m in London. The staff are always lovely and the cafe is gorgeous. One of my favourite places to have brunch

While in Candem we found this curious place. They control the whole gluten issue. We ordered a crepe with jam and banana that was super delicious. They make them with buckwheat. It is a cozy place.

Great little creperie! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They have a veggie, vegan and gluten-free friendly menu, and everything was so yummy.
The staff give great recommendations too. We got two crepes to takeaway and the portions were big. You get whipped cream with sweet and hot sauce with savoury crepes! Highly recommended!

There are coffee shops and there is Madeleine’s.Spent a fab couple of hours in Blackheath Village, sampling coffee, cakes and luxurious ice-cream with some gluten free options. Well worth a visit.
This chill spot offers a solid vegan menu and relaxing outdoor vibes, though the interior could use a cozier touch and service might take a bit longer.

A good spot for vegans, solo or in a couple /family. I was on a solo date, for a little vegan celebration :) I went for a Vegan Love You Lotus crepe and a Vegan salted caramel thick shake. The crepe by itself is Gluten-free. The quality is decent, with a nice presentation. I liked the shake more than the crepe itself but I'm quite satisfied with the overall experience.
The weather was nice and warm, I sat outside and started chatting with a retired geologist and traveller!
The pros 🎈
* You can have 10% off if you order online, which I tried but it wouldn't work for me. So, I ordered at the till and they applied the discount.
* The service is nice
* The Vegan menu is definitely highlighted and appealing. That's what attracted me in the first place. The menu makes it easy for vegans to make their choices. It's a no-brainer ❤️
*Outdoor space in front of the park is very relaxing despite the traffic.
The cons ⏰
* The interior design. It's a bit of a cold and dark atmosphere. I would add some wall art, colours, plants... cosy furniture, to jazz it up, making it more welcoming, more of a place where you want to hang out and spend money.
*The buckwheat dough makes the sweet crepes a bit dry I guess. I'm French, traditionally with use 2 different recipes for sweet (crepe) and savoury (galettes)
* online orders to eat in need of a little help.
Charming spot with authentic galettes and crepes made from buckwheat, perfect for a quick bite in a cozy atmosphere.

The crepes were very filling and delicious.
The service was friendly, fast and clean.
We consumed freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee as drinks.
The pancakes are gluten-free and it is not easy to finish them all, even for a very hungry person.
Long queues lead to delightful pancakes and unique buckwheat crepes, making for a tasty and rewarding stop every time.

Fantastic crepes. Love the mushroom tarragon cheese and ham with garlic. The sweet banana cream ones are delicious as well. They offer gluten free buckwheat crepes on the weekends. Cash only.
I got to Utter Waffle in Balham often, and have tried the other branch too. It’s my favourite brunch spot, 100% gluten free, great coffee and great service. There’s an extensive menu for every taste so it’s perfect for coeliacs! It’s rare we get such a big menu!
Found this place the other day and have been twice, love it so much and the man running the stall is the loveliest. Was able to get my hands on gluten free buckwheat crepes ❤️

All vegan options were also gluten-free! Really great, quite tasty. Also had a vegan milkshake. This tasted very good. Worth repeating in its entirety.
