I had a fantastic dining experience at Ask Italian! Their gluten-free and vegan pizza was a delightful surprise, with a crispy crust and generous, flavourful toppings. It was clear they take dietary preferences seriously without compromising on taste. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. A great spot for anyone with specific dietary needs or just looking for a delicious pizza!

I have a gluten allergy and find it incredibly hard to eat out most of the time. Cat was my waitress today. She was incredibly helpful with the allergen menu. I was a bit worried about the crackers as majority of the time they do contain gluten. This time however they were gluten free! I didn't eat the crackers and opted out asked not to have them, as im always a bit sceptical. Great choice of gluten free options and the waitress was beyond amazing! Thankyou esecially for helping me with my allergies and thankyou for accommodating our party of 7! We don't get out much. The service I received today was amazing 👏 🙌 ☺️

I was served by Emma P and she was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was spectacular - they have lots of gluten-free options if you are gluten-free! We will definitely return.

Can't praise this place enough. The service was impeccable, great ambience and food was delicious. Had two dogs with us, so I was initially worried if we could relax.. but we were made to feel comfortable and welcomed the whole time we were there. My son can't have gluten, soya and certain dairy. We usually feel embarassed asking about different food ingredients and most places won't cater for his intolerances nowadays. Once again, they were amazing checking everything and we weren't made to feel awkward at all. Very reassuring. My son enjoyed his meal and did not have any issues after. What a gem of a place. 😊

On 26 October my wife and I dined in at Mowgli's (the Chelmsford Branch). First of all I would just like to say how amazing the food was here and this review is mainly for Brooke, she was our waitress for the evening who ensured that we are accommodated for our dietary requirements but the service she provided was one of the best we have ever had. My wife is celiac and we are both vegetarian, as a result for my wife at most places we visit there is limited choices for her. We decided to go for the street food sharer and asked if we could replace one of the items for gluten friendly option. Brooke made sure this happened, she went back and forth (from our table to the kitchen) to make it happen. After our order was placed a manager came to our table and said we could not have the sharer menu as they cannot mix non gluten friendly items with gluten friendly items, I explained that these are separate dishes so I do not understand why this would be the case. It is the same as me ordering each item individually from the main menu. Despite my explanations the manager said this cannot be done and that we would have to order of the main menu. I had no choice but to agree and I said I will order exactly the same items that are on the sharer menu but from the main menu. Then Brooke came over and saved the day! She explained there had been a misunderstanding and she has spoken to the kitchen team and manager and we will receive food as agreed from the sharer menu. In instances like this it is very easy for a restaurant to not accommodate or even go that little over and beyond, and we have experienced this on a number of occasions when they realise my wife is celiac. However Brooke at Mowgli was amazing and I cannot thank her enough for making our evening such a wonderful one. We can't wait to go back again! P.s. sorry for the delay in writing this review but I do hope Brooke gets the credit and recognition that she deserves for her great work!
