While I do appreciate the quality of the food and gluten free options, I have to say the service is really lacking. Waited an hour for avocado on toast which like, doesn’t even require cooking. After taking forever to serve our food, staff rushed us to pay and leave asap. I was informed by the waitress that “we have a wait list” while she was pacing back and forth in front of our table to really lay the pressure on. The whole thing was almost funny.
The service was absolutely great—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I’m giving a 4-star rating mainly because I think the menu could use a bit more variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions. It would be great to see more options that cater to different needs, like gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian or allergy-friendly choices.
That said, the food we did try was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I’d definitely come back again and would recommend it to friends. Looking forward to seeing how the menu evolves over time!
The Grocery Basket is absolutely amazing! Their food is consistently fresh and delicious, and their coffee truly lives up to its name "Freakin Good Coffee". I have started using them for my catering needs and they have been incredibly accommodating with various dietary requests, such as gluten-free, celiac, vegetarian, vegan, and diabetic diets. They are always able to come up with creative and different options to meet everyone's needs. Additionally, they have been very understanding of my last-minute lunch requests and always deliver.
