Ok, great place, and they do a great job of gluten-free. My wife has celiac and no issues. We each had a few tacos and some chips and salsa. I will say, i was not a fan of the chips.

Was very disappointed to hear that the Gluten Free options available are cross contaminated (fryers are shared), especially as there is seemingly a lot of effort to prevent cross contamination in the preparation process and in the use of ingredients. Why make the effort to cater for an allergy to then cross contaminate it? However, from other members in my party, the other doughnuts were excellent!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Everything is fresh and has such depth of flavor. They’re also very knowledgeable about gluten free foods and have many options for those who can’t eat gluten. We’ll be back soon!

We ended up at Urban Grub after finding out the wait at a nearby breakfast spot was 2.5 hours for 2 people- yikes! Whisper was our server and she was amazing! So personable and sweet. She was also able to help my celiac friend navigate the menu and even offered options for substitutions. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits which was FANTASTIC. I ordered the Oscar Bennie which was OK. The crab comes cold and on the side, which was odd, but the crab was tasty nonetheless. The hollandaise was flavorless, although it was advertised as being “citrus”. I got it with a side of Gouda grits, which were so yummy. Overall, pretty happy with our experience! And kudos to our server, Whisper!
