Great pizza and salads and a fabulous gluten free crust!! We had the protein pizza, spicy Hawaiian, little pepperoni, all with regular crust and they were all delicious. We also ordered the BBQ chicken, antipasto, and margahrita all on gluten free crust. .yum!! Often you are charged extra for GF and it is a lame pre-made cauliflower crust that tastes like cardboard. Not at Sidewall! This is homemade and almost like a Detroit style...a little thicker crust with a crispy bottom...so good! The salads are fabulous...highly recommend the one with butternut squash and kale, but liked them all.

The food was decent. Very fresh. I had a chicken poblano soup that I found delicious. My family enjoyed their sandwiches. There were good gluten free options for my son, as well. My issue was more with service and the attitude of what appeared to be the manager. Very curt! Not at all a display of the southern hospitality we were expecting on our first visit to SC from NY! The staff was great but the manager would make me never go there again. She even had the audacity to scold my 3 year old autistic son when she heard him acting up. I know there is no way that she'd know he is autistic but the whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps she needs a little vacation to reset? Maybe head on up to NY and be treated more kindly.

Top Soil is one of if not THE BEST restaurant in Greenville County! After experiencing one of the best meals that I have had from a restaurant in 13 years, I brought my family from Mass. and NH to this restaurant. One of our members had dairy and gluten free requests which were literally catered to - my family member was impressed with the fresh tastes and flavors and felt cared for as well. I love the Three course offering and the optional wine pairing. The amberjack crudo was delightful! The mixture of the marinated squash blossom, pickled chive and radish was wonderful. The sauce for the mahi mahi mahi enhanced the fish - the garden lavender crème brûlée was light, flavorful and delicious. The wine pairing enhanced the flavors of each entree. I sampled every plate and they all had distinct flavors and were fresh and memorable. I loved the crispy Brussels & shiitakes and I usually.don’t care for Brussel sprouts. You cannot ask for better food or service. You will not be disappointed.

Good quality sushi. Great on accommodating gluten allergy. Only complaint is portions are small. Islander Roll, for example, was only 5 pieces but a more expensive roll. I would disclose that on the menu for those who are more hungry.
