We used Pennies for our rehearsal dinner cake (maraschino cherry) and our wedding cake (almond with raspberry filling) on Aug 9-10th of this year. To preface, we weren’t even going to have a fancy cake to cut because we aren’t “cake” people due to a gluten intolerance! The week before our wedding, my husbands work used Pennies for GF cupcakes and we both fell in love. We went and ordered a cake a few days later for our wedding and rehearsal dinner- THATS HOW GOOD IT IS. For our wedding we didn’t have any reference photos or color swatches and they delivered exactly what we could’ve wanted and with the perfect shade of blue to match! We served sheet cakes from Costco to our guests but many of them wished they could try ours Our only thing would be, if you have a Saturday wedding, pick it up Friday if possible. We picked it up Wednesday and it was a little more dry on our wedding than anticipated. The rehearsal dinner cake we served was a complete hit, and everyone loved it!! Thank you guys so much!

You should try out Mac’s pizza oven they have an amazing gluten free pizza lots of good choices and the guy who runs it is really kind and nice and the interior is a nice place to dine in nice music and he even washed his hands multiple times because he cared about not getting wheat on the pizza and the pizza oven is cool definitely better than an industrial oven and the payment was quick and honestly the quickest we have gotten a pizza, good prices and he was very appreciative of choosing his restaurant and even remembered my friend and wished us a happy Halloween, he gets stuff sourced locally like the farmers market I overheard and from the #1 cheese sourcer in the country and you see them make the pizza and he takes a lot of time making sure it’s good to the last detail

Family owned and locally operated business. Angela and Pete are the business owners and founders of the Vintage Coffeehouse. The coffeehouse is a dream come true for them and more than 2 decades in the making. They pour their heart and soul into the coffeehouse and serving the community. They are some of the best people you will ever encounter. This is our family’s favorite coffeehouse, not only in the county, but of anywhere we’ve been, and so far we’ve visited nearly 40 of our great states. Today I had the Baklava Latte with almond milk and a biscotti. The lattes, cappuccino, espresso, and americanos are all fantastic, as are the teas. There are a lot of sugar free options, which I love, and also many house made syrups. Vintage also supports numerous other local businesses - Penny’s Bake Shop, the chosen crumb, etc. The egg quiche selection is always fantastic. There are wonderful desert options, including the best gluten free desserts I’ve ever had. So if you are looking for a gluten friendly dessert this is also the best place to visit. There is a private room that can be rented for larger parties, called the “lady bird room.” This is our favorite business in the Butler Downtown.
