My return to Frankfort after many years landed me at an old favorite stop for dinner - Stormcloud. My friends and I split two appetizers, pizza, and two of us got sandwiches. The popcorn with the truffle parm was very good! I also enjoyed the creamy buffalo dip although the cheese on top made it a little hard to dip and I was craving some celery sticks on the side to go with the tortilla chips. My friends who split the roasted root pizza got a gluten-free crust and were impressed with the texture. The root veggies and corn with horseradish drizzle gave many layers of flavors that were really nice. The Peppy Pig sandwich ordered by my friend she raved about! I had a Turkey Brie Sandwich and it was good but slightly disappointing. I think a different bread would have really elevated this sandwich to its potential.

Delicious food, TONS of stuffing in every sandwich. It’s ridiculous how much you get. Creative sandwich combos. Great gluten free wrap options too. Fresh, fast, and super flavorful. Will definitely eat here again next time I’m in town.

De-lish! Also, I have celiac and they have GF cones. The staff was very friendly, and the ice cream was so yummy!

We’ve loved this place for a long time but after today won’t be coming back. My husband went in and ordered two pizzas. One standard and one gluten free crust for me because I have food sensitivities. Up till now we’ve never had a problem. They took our money. Told my husband it would be 20 minutes. Pretty standard. 20 minutes pass and they tell him one is done but the other is still in the oven. He stands around for another 5 minutes before they then tell him actually they don’t have any of the gluten free crust. Listen, we’re not mad they didn’t have it. That happens. We’re mad they let us wait knowing they didn’t have it and tried to lie about it at first. They offered to give my husband his pizza for free but he doesn’t want to eat one in front of me. He asked for a refund. Didn’t demand his tip back and we left. Front of house needs to be more mature in how they handle these situations.
