Normally Tempo is a nice location with good food and service. Worthy of 4 stars maybe better on some nights when they update their menu, as they frequently do, with creative and fun new dishes.
Unfortunately my wife and I ordered take out deserts right before I writing this review and as you can see from the picture their idea of coffee creme brulee is unacceptable. For $10 I expect it to have a shape at the least.
Gluten Free friendly place though. Bonus points for that.
Absolutely awesome curry house. The Dosa's are delicious and one of the best 'Ruby Murray' (curry) I've had since coming to the US. Tandoori chicken and naan was stellar. They also cater diligently to preparation of gluten free and vegetarian options in a separate kitchen. A1+
I found this to be a very nice place for breakfast. We had a little wait for a table but it was worth it. Our waitress was very welcoming and knowledgeable. My daughter has a gluten allergie, once the waitress knew this she let us know what was gluten free. The nice thing was the manager came over to explain how the food my daughter ordered would be prepared to be sure there was no cross contamination. We can't wait to go back.
Had a wonderful time with some friends at The Tea Leaf today. We enjoyed the ambiance, the service was excellent, the food was delicious. We did the High Tea experience, and there was a large variety of teas that we tried and enjoyed. My friend who is gluten free was well taken care of as well with multiple savory and sweet options (we called to request some gluten free options in advance). My favorites were the sandwiches and the scone with jam. Overall had a lovely time!
•Has Parking lot side of building, could accommodate about 12 cars comfortably.
•Friendly staff
•Some precooked pizza slices available, but most of the food is made when ordered
•To my knowledge, no public restrooms so keep that in mind before you arrive.
•Check out the pictures for menu and pics of interior
•I was very happy with their gluten free pizza. Staff seemed knowledgeable on the nutrition and allergy contents of each food item. I have celiac disease, so I will update on if I had a reaction.
Part 2:
•Little to no reaction from this pizza!
My friends and I visited on a whim on our way to pick pumpkins, and we can't help but overwhelmingly recommend it. From my understanding it's mainly - if not only - run by Masao himself, and we agree he's doing a lovely job. The atmosphere itself was very cozy and welcoming, and I definitely suggest dining in if you'd enjoy a space to take it slow and savor the peace.
Can't stress enough that the food is good!! I was very happy to find nearly everything on today's menu was gluten free as one person in our party can't have any, and it was all very fall-oriented flavors. I especially liked the BBQ tofu, butternut squash millet, black bean stew, and the vanilla custard.
Today was my first visit to Da Vinci. It was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The service was top notch, the atmosphere was quaint and cozy, and the food was exceptional. For the celiacs out there, the menu was clearly marked with many options and they even have homemade gluten free bread. I will definitely be returning.
It was my first time at Lizzy's tonight and I will definitely be back! Along with the ice cream being delicious, I would like to write how impressed I was with that staff member who made our ice cream! I am someone with Celiac, so I cannot eat gluten. I was excited to see there were gluten free cones. When I asked for a gluten free cone, the young man making our sundaes was quick to ask me "is this a gluten allergy or preference? I would like to make sure so I can wash my hands change gloves, make sure you can have the ice cream and use a clean scoop." I was shocked! Anyone with a food allergy, intolerance or celiac will understand how stressful it is to eat out, unsure if serious precautions are taken to avoid cross - contamination, and without me even asking, he told me exactly what steps he was going to take to avoid gluten. Thank you! :)
I had the Guatemalan platter to sample a little of everything, and it was so much food that it will be lunch and dinner tomorrow as well! Naturally I had to try their flan which was extraordinarily well done, perfectly smooth and creamy. All gluten-free. Service was friendly and natural. Definitely recommend!
pho & spice is our favorite place to eat in waltham!!!
the restaurant is small but decorated very nicely. the staff are always wonderful. my partner loves it because he's gluten free and vegan (allergies), but there are still menu options he can eat.
he usually gets the mango curry with tofu, and i get the orange chicken. it's the best orange chicken i've had - the sauce is so delicious, not too heavy or too liquidy, and though they give you a hefty serving of veggies they don't skimp out on the crispy chicken! and i'm not a big fan of tofu, but their tofu delight appetizer is so good - after the crunch, it just melts in your mouth.
we've become regulars even though we don't usually eat out much. the staff are very appreciative by occasionally adding an extra item to our order, which is never expected but always sweet of them. i can't recommend pho & spice enough!
**update: we've tried more dishes from them, all delicious. my partner has gone crazy for their soups!
