We are so fortunate to have a bakery like this in Brewster. The owner keeps herself enriched by visiting France to perfect her craft in the off season. I mean how awesome is that? On top of that, they have a bounty of gluten free options which they denote using pink signs. Many a birthday cake or simply a little pick me up have been purchased by my family here.
They cannot handle food allergies. We visited a few days ago. I explained that someone in our party had a severe allergy to gluten and also a dairy allergy. I chose a flavor without these ingredients and asked if they could use a clean scoop. They said “ok, but we can guarantee anything”. This is the same person that went on to serve the sorbet. It was handed out to us and it had large pieces of other ice cream on it, obviously from a dirty scoop. I showed it to them and they just looked at us. Did not apologize or offer to prepare another serving. Here is a business who does not care about their clients. I am never coming back.
Let me tell you about a great cute Cafe in Brewster, do not miss out on this gem because the coffee is amazing and the food is impeccable. I had the breakfast burrito and had to pace myself I loved it ! Their hot sauce options were awesome too! And it did have gluten free options as well
