They have dedicated fryers and are well versed in Celiac protocol. I had the fried shrimps and it was amazing. Highly recommend it!!! Staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I just loved it!!!!

Hi! I’m a gluten free, dairy free pain-in-the butt Coffee Snob from NJ. This was hands down the BEST coffee and breakfast I’ve had since we left home 3 days ago! What a difference a good cup of coffee and an excellent breakfast makes! Had the veggie lovers omelet with gluten free toast and turkey bacon. Everything was PERFECT. A sweet young lady delivered our breakfast to us outside and offered more coffee to go. I can’t image anyplace better for breakfast than the Midway Cafe in Islamorada! Thank you ladies. You made my morning!!

It was just okay. The coolest part was definitely the free games to play while waiting for lunch. However, even with those, I wouldn't go back because it was just okay. We have food allergies. I was surprised to learn the gluten-free pizza crust has cheese. The server was a little snoody when she told me that all cauliflower pizza crusts do because she was so confident and so wrong. I've been gluten free for 11 years and have a child who could not have dairy for several of those years. I've read ingredients on pizzas myself and also have spoken to chefs at restaurants. Never have I seen dairy in the crust before so I really did not appreciate being talked down to like that. Otherwise the service was decent. The pizzas were just average though. They were a little overdone, and the sauce was pretty "meh." There are much better options around that I would recommend checking out instead.
