I have celiac so have to eat gluten free, going to a restaurant where every item on the menu but one is gluten free is incredible! But for people who think gluten free isn’t good, I’m the only one in my family who has to be and they all said some of their meals are the best they ever had. One had the filet. Another the Salmon. Truly delicious! Last night was my first time trying Piripi but we will be back again soon, so many items to try!

✨ First visit to this delicious gem of a restaurant—and what a treat! Our server, Lyndon, was fantastic and full of personality the service was top notch! He shared that the owner built this spot around his two favorite foods: tacos and ramen, then tossed in a rum bar for good measure. The result? A festive fusion with serious flavor. 🌾 They offer plenty of gluten-free options, which was such a delightful surprise. I went with the gluten-free Tonkotsu ramen—rich, flavorful broth, tender pork, and super fresh ingredients. I added chili sauce on the side to customize the heat to my taste. 🌶️ My husband ordered the Hellfire ramen (with half the hell), and even with the spice toned down, it packed a fiery punch he loved. He couldn’t imagine it being any hotter! 🍹 For drinks, I had a refreshing mocktail and my husband ordered the Painkiller, which came in a fun glass and totally matched the playful vibe. 🍨 We rounded out the meal with two indulgent desserts—the gluten free piña colada and the churro flight. Both were incredibly tasty. 💰 All of this goodness came in under $90. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Nice little café with an industrial esthetic - exposed brick, pipes etc. Wide selection of beverages. Decent pastries. Meager gluten-free options. Coffee was good. Service was good. Wasn't too busy for a Saturday morning. Will be back if I'm in the area.

This was my first time to the Rusty Melon. They have gluten free options and their fries are gluten free and they are good! Sometimes the seasoning on the fries has gluten. Not here. I had the beet salad. So good and tasty! Prices are good too.

Gluten free crust was really good. Probably the best gf pizza crust we've ever had. The regular crust was fine, and the pizza in general was fine. The Italian nachos were also fine. The problem is everything was extremely overpriced. A 10" pizza was $19. That's just silly. The nachos were equally small and overpriced. I'm guessing about 15% food cost. At that rate, they can afford servers. Which brings me to my next point. The order by phone thing is just a bad idea. Everyone there is super friendly, and wants to provide great service. I, in turn, want to pay for great service. Taking me away from my table to pick up my food and drink is not a good thing. Get servers. Make it a night out for people. We'll pay for it. The location is great. The outdoor seating in downtown Erie is great. Just bring your prices in line with a reasonable food cost, and add servers.
