I'm an "alt meat"/ "food tech" foodie, so I had to visit to try the vegan lamb kebab. It was phenomenal! Best alt meat I've had since first trying the impossible burger years ago. The hummus was also exceptional and I was impressed that they served gluten free pita.
Get place to get gluten free pizza! I had the BBQ and mushroom truffle. Both where delicious they did run out of the Omisson (happens everywhere) but thankfully had Cider on tap! Wasn't busy mon-tues.
Agave is always a hit. We take most of our guests here. Great quality of food, incredible family recipes (enjococado and quality mole), hot homemade chips that comes with a couple salsa types, actual quality vegetable/vegetarian options, good tequila selection, nice service, and i could go on and on! We love the patio too, and almost always can sit right away.
As a celiac in a family of celiacs/gluten sensitive folks, it's awesome that the chips are gluten free which isn't always the case. They have lots of options for people sensitive to gluten. I have eaten there fairly often for many years, and as far as i can tell, i haven't been "glutened" there.
If i had any drawbacks at all, it's that sometimes service is slow due to being short staffed but honestly i see that pretty much everywhere. If you let them know about a time constraint they will kindly help out.
Whenever my family comes in town, they want to go to agave!
We went as a group and had wonderful service by our server. Can’t remember her name but she was super friendly and attentive.
Good pizza, wine, cocktails. They have gluten free options too. Ravioli was good!
Very average experience. We did not even get a cup of water 15min after sitting down. Not to mention the water cup has a bunch of fingerprints...
We tried the v-duck. It is coated with some sort of glue.. maybe gluten? sticky to the teeth. I cannot remember any real duck with glue.... The ventilation within the restaurant is not so good. It kinda smells. Also, please repair your door. It squeaks like crazy. The only waitress there is spending 80% of her time dealing with that pathetic door...
I love this bakery and the 4.9 star rating is legit.
The people are so kind, I believe it’s run by a family.
The breads don’t contain sugar or yeast - just good, old sourdough.
I’m gluten sensitive, but because this bread doesn’t contain sugar or yeast I can have it (albeit in small amounts).
The Focaccia is really good too.
I love supporting local businesses and this place is a gem.
There were a number of clearly labelled gluten free options on the menu and the staff was knowledgeable. The only thing that I would change is that the fries are marked as gluten free even though they are fried in the same oil as the rest. I would prefer if they added an asterisk to avoid misunderstanding. The ambience is very nice, great indoor-outdoor space.
I had a great experience at Mantra India. The food was good, nice environment, and great service from Joy and the other servers. It is also very allergen-friendly for any gluten, dairy, or nut allergy.
Ordered :
Lad Na : 4/5
Chicken + mixed vegetable : 2/5
Pad see ew : 4/5
Pad kee mow : 4/5
Spicy basil fried rice : 4/5
Order again : 2/5 Place has started to go downhill, has been removed from our favorite thai place to giving it a couple more tries before placing it on our "Don't Revisit" or "Occasional Visit" list.
You must be wondering if the dishes have been rated as 4/5 why is the overall rating 2/5. The food here used to be very good, Lad na was my favorite dish here and the gluten free + vegan versions of Pad see ew, Pad kee mow & Spicy basil fried rice were very flavorful and tasty. Infact they were the only thing palatable in the gluten free + vegan section among all the Thai places nearby.
However this place has either had a management and/or a chef change recently, as the food quality has gone down drastically. Food that was flavorful and tasty has now become bland, sauces that were mixed well with the food and gave it its flavor have been watered down and now can be found at the bottom of the plate, leave the food as if it has just been boiled.
Furthermore they have raised the prices two times now, dishes have gone from $14 to $18. Overall just bad and expensive food. Time to find a new thai place for us.
This is my goto Vegan Chinese restaurant. It tastes like home made. Also my son has food allergies to dairy, gluten, msg, sesame, msg, oat, eggs, and nuts… and Veggie Garden is able to accommodate him. Try the Singapore style noodles, chow fun, braised green bean, Thai coconut curry and vegetable delight.
The food was very delicious and we enjoyed their menu combi deals that have an excellent value. Their cooks a.re very fast and the outdoor seating area is nice, but nothing outstanding. Their menu is perfectly designed with all food allergies listed and they have options for dairy-free, gluten-free etc.!
Parking is available right at the entrance.

I'm in awe. This location has the friendliest people employees. The managers were great and so was Viviana at the Boar's Head. They made me my gluten free sandwich and that made my day. I didn't know that Safeway offers gluten free bread.
Loved the salsas. So much variety, and each one, so unique. They custom-made a gluten-free fajita for me. We were a big group and I got to taste so many dishes on the menu. Each one was delicious. The cocktails hit the right notes too!
We recently visited this place, and while overall it was a ok experience, I personally feel they could benefit from adding more fiber-rich ingredients to their ramen. Also, be cautious when choosing the spice level— the medium spice was much spicier than expected! My husband and I both regretted not opting for the mild spice level. The best part, though, was that they offer gluten-free noodles $3 extra…
What a wonderful place to eat Vietnamese food. They are very health conscious, clean, and friendly! Their prices are VERY reasonable!
I chose the grass fed filet mignon pho. Gluten free and organic! Not only was it delicious, but also very filling!
This is a must go to if you love Vietnamese food!

Hidden gem that you can drive right by if you didn't know about it. I greedily go there to get their Sticky Buns almost every weekend. They also have seasonal danishes that have fruit and custard in the middle. Their seasonal muffins are good too. They have a wide variety of gluten goodies and a coffee shop, but it is the Sticky Buns that does it for me. I have a special way of eating them: I cut the "muffin top" off, heat it up a little in the microwave, uncoil the muffin top and eat right down to the center of it. The bottom half is eaten the same way and I save the buttery sweet center for last. Sometimes I save the outer part of the bottom half for last because the sweet caramelized glaze that is on there gives a nice chew :).. I'm done! I added photos.

The new gluten free crust is a crispy delight, and the delivery was fast and straight to my door. And having that GF option is so great. I’ve been waiting years for a mainstream pizza maker to offer any sort GF option, and finally Domino’s did, and it’s wonderful.
all you can eat AYCE for $30 (dinner) w/ 100 items to choose. Here's a list of recommended items to help you PRIORITIZE.
When it comes to AYCE it's all about strategy, get the tastiest and most expensive items. I pescatarian. I don’t eat meat. And I never liked falafel , that’s why I used to eat Mediterranean food once a year. This place taught me to love this cousin. I come here 2-3 times a week so is my husband, and so are all the friends who I told about SAJJ. Everything is fresh, stuff is the friendliest people. Music is always great - modern mix-s. What stands out is that usually falafel could be confused with rocks that accidentally got into the plate, in SAJJ it’s softer and edible lol. Soup on the side is 💯!! Prices are great too!! My only wishes so that they add some fish options Or maybe falafel made in a slower cooker without frying and oil. And maybe gluten-free pita bread options to add more healthier options.
Rightly said "Best French Restaurant in Mountain view" . We enjoyed the food and they have a good variety of Veg and Gluten Free options. Do ask for the soup of the day.
Clock Tower has a couple of extra special features that make it worth a look: they have their own roaster, and several of their tasty baked goods are gluten-free.
Excellent tapas restaurant with several dishes each with unique flavors. Since I was with a group, I tasted dishes I wouldn't normally have ordered (curried cauliflower, banana leaf chicken & stuffed dates along with steak & shrimp staples. I don't think you could've ordered anything that wasn't tasty. Many gluten free options that those with allergies won't feel limited. Service was attentive & the only reason this got only 4 stars is bc I felt it was pretty pricey. Would definitely return with another group in order to taste more of the small plates!
Well made American food and lots of beers. Service was a bit slow. It was loud on a Thursday. Sports TVs over the bar felt out of place. Menu is good, with lots of options. Gluten free buns.
You can't beat Five Guys at what they do. They make good burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes. If you are allergic to peanuts STAY AWAY, though. They have peanuts available upfront for snacking, and there is no way that you would not be exposed. That being said, they are great when it comes to getting gluten-free food. They ask if it is preference or allergy. I have Celiac, not an allergy, but I go with an allergy to make it simple. I always order a cheeseburger with grilled onions on a lettuce wrap with fries. My kids are partial to their hot dogs, and my husband likes to get a big, juicy cheeseburger on a bun.
This place is a diamond in the rough! Instantly when you walk in, the smell of the BBQ makes you want to stay. This place is also the first that doesn't marinate their meat in yogurt or use gluten in their felafel. An excellent place to go to if you are gluten-free or dairy-free. Will definitely be coming back here :)
The sausages here are particularly good and there is a decent selection of non-alcoholic drinks e.g. ginger beer. I also very much appreciate the gluten-free beer option. I tend to avoid Wednesday nights due to the noisy pub quizz.
I guess it has been a couple years since I ate at a Panera Bread, but I remember them being more catering to the people like me who have to eat Gluten Free. There used to be a "secret menu" that you could order from and be assured there was a salad bowl or grain bowl that would be gluten-free and usually dairy-free. Now seems things have changed and I had to really explain to the cashier my dilemma and needing to do a gluten free option. I thought he understood and I was able to get a quinoa/rice bowl with avocado and sauce and topped that with a fried egg. But when my order came, there was a nice bread roll next to it - whomp whomp. I would have thought that the person working at Panera Bread would know that bread contains gluten. I guess not. But meal was good and I didn't get sick - I exchanged the bread for chips when the server brought it out. I'm not sure why I wasn't asked for my choice of a side when I placed my order, but whatever.
I had the Crispy Rice Bowl and I was surprised how yummy it was! The chicken was SO good!! It's my first time eating at a sweetgreen and I'll definitely be coming back! The staff was also so kind and helpful as I was trying to choose a gluten free option!
