Can get VERY loud on the weekends and you are packed in like sardines so a star taken off for having to shout over the noise of restless children etc., which I know isn't the fault of the business but does detract from the overall experience. That being said, staff are lovely, food is great, especially the choices for a coeliac and it's also dog friendly in some parts which is fab.

Firstly I asked for the special dietary requirements menu, and when the male server came over and asked who asked for it, I said it was me. Yet he gave it to one of the men in our group, who was actually sat on a different table. I am ensure why he wouldn't pass it to me directly.
The special dietary requirements information was a listing, rather than having information like milk free, gluten free vegetarian and, vegan option marked on the main menu. And there were very few clear options to choose from.
How difficult is it nowadays to have GF waffles or vegan ice cream.

Not been here for a few years as now live out of town, however was visiting, and this is my go to for a nice Italian meal. Lots of new young staff but main family people have not changed, which is nice to see. I reconsidered them but probably not the other way. Amazing meal and so accommodating to my gluten free friend. Lots of options for gluten free, you do need to look at the ingredient list as it's not listed on the menu. But as long as you tell the staff they are careful and everything comes out with a little allergen flag on.
