Brilliant,absolutely lovely place it's just a shame I'm not closer and only visited while on a short holiday. The gluten free menu was why we visited as I have to be careful but practically everything is gluten free from the sausages to the pizzas,plenty of options if you're in need of a takeaway while needing to ensure it's gluten free.

As my daughter suffers from allergies,she ordered a gluten free sandwich. Unfortunately,after starting eating shenoticed the bread had mould on it. She returned it but got NO apology or any refund. The lady in charge,just avoided any contact!!

What a lovely little place! I called in here yesterday and had the rhubarb sorbet! Absolutely delicious, full of fruit and rhubarby juiciness! My Gluten-free other half also had a brilliant choice of flavours and got to have a gf cone instead of just a cardboard tub! Lovely smiley service on a rainy Mother's Day in pretty Cartmel 👍💟😊

We went very early, 5pm. Lovely, knowledgeable staff, fantastic choice including gluten free. Food was superb, I had chicken supreme, my partner had the fish pot, brimming with all sorts of fish, topped with mashed potato and cheese. Loads of choices on the menu plus specials. A little gem in the middle of the town. Would 100% recommend
