I have visited loads of lounges across the uk i can honestly say I have never had a bad meal, staff at chesterfield branch are brilliant would like to give a shout out to the red haired lady with pony tails who was our server... Very Very good at her job! ... always get good vibes when I go to a lounges.

On our way to Alton Towers we dropped in to grab breakfast. I can not praise this establishment enough. I have worked in the food industry for 36 years and carried many visits on businesses you never announce why you are there you just let things unfold it's always the best way to get the full measure of a place.
Katie took our order and as someone who suffers from an immune disorder triggered by gluten and dairy I look for sharp focus and great knowledge to give me confidence that my needs are in safe hands this was in abundance.
I was struck by Katie's take charge can do attitude telling what I couldn't have (something I knew already but hearing it from her made me know I was 100% in safe hands).
Katie absolutely made my day and cemented this establishment as in no doubt somewhere we will come back to again and again.
Doesn't really change from year to year and quite honestly, it needs a serious re vamp and refurbishment. Food is good enough but portions seem to have reduced eg when you used to get two toast with your breakfast you now only get one. Gluten free options are great as they are seriously lacking in other cafés in Chesterfield.
Staff can be a bit hit and miss, friendly and welcoming one day but a bit abrupt and off hand another so pick your day and staff member!
Could be a lovely little place if they spent a bit of money on it.
A really friendly pub with extremely helpful staff. We are staying two nights and the room is so comfortable.
We had an excellent evening meal last night. This morning we really enjoyed our breakfast. The staff are so mindful of my gluten intolerance.

If you are visiting anywhere near Chesterfield (I would define near as within 100 miles) then I would make a detour to this place...it's absolutely superb. Tasty food. Lots of choice. Plenty of gluten free options. Kids menu. Dog friendly. We took a non vegan friend and she was well impressed too.
Food was very nice, plenty of gluten free options for starters and main courses. Not for dessert,s. Definitely will be going back very soon. Very relaxing place
The BEST gluten free chippy in chesterfield
I've tried lots of gluten-free chip shops all over the country and this is in the the 3rd best behind papas in Cleethorpes and fish and chips at 149 Bridlington I appreciate any establishment who make gluten free options but this is the best in chesterfield/Midlands
The fish.. large cod the batter was golden brown and cooked to perfection not too crispy and not soggy just right .. the fish itself was nice and thick and was solid when under attack from a folk, it came apart in large chunks and didn't turn to a fish snow texture as cheaper cuts do when over cooked this fish was perfect and can't wait to try the haddock.
The chips was cooked perfectly not soggy but not hard and was nice and fluffy we ordered large and couldn't finish them as the portion sizes are huge!
The curry sauce a standard gluten free curry sauce that I see more chip shops are now using. Here is the difference some chippies are more water than powder and the viscosity is not correct where as this chip shop probably used more powder in the sauce so it was nice and thick and packed with flavour and was perfect... If you usually have normal curry sauce from chippies than try the gluten free version as my wife and I say it has allot more taste.
The sausage was a standard chip shop sausage... Nothing wrong with it and was cooked perfectly
We phoned before we went to make sure they did gluten free options and the staff was polite, professional and very knowledgeable
The shop itself is very clean and has a 5 star food hygiene rating... Another thing to note as someone with a food allergen when you walk in to an establishment and see the staff looking clean, presentable and hygienic gives you that bit more confidence that the food will be allergies free
As a gluten free chippy I'd give this a sold 10 out of 10 I wouldn't change anything.
Exceptional! Modern, light and airy with a hint of nostalgia with tea scales and weights and measures displayed in the large windows, my friend and I had a very relaxing few hours sampling the delicious teas and cakes. I had a fruit scone and I can honestly say it was the best scone I’ve ever had - light and fluffy on the inside, with a nice slightly crisp outer to bite into. The buttery flavour was glorious! My friend had a gluten-free mini Easter egg brownie, which she said was equally as delicious. Everything was served on immaculate white china, which is always a winner. Wonderful! Added bonus was the customer parking behind the building. The staff were happy and attentive which helped to created a lovely atmosphere.
Absolutely love this place, though I must admit it is a place I only ever go when I know I have the money. Me and my sister used to go here a lot, they do a lot of gluten free options that taste really good. I've also been here with my partner too. On one occasion we made a food order and sat outside with our drinks. The waitress came over to give us our order and accidentally dropped the fries all over the table. We told her it was ok, and my partner laughed about it saying he would still eat them. But the poor girl was so upset by what she did, she couldn't stop apologising and told us we could get another bowl of fries free of charge. Wow!
Accidents happen, and she was very apologetic and kind about the incident. We thanked her profusely. Lovely staff besides that incident to begin with anyways, I've always liked the atmosphere here. I also think it's brilliant for vegetarian options too with regards to pizzas
Our first visit to the Anchor we were well impressed with our phone and messages explaining that our daughter was autistic and had gluten and dairy allergies nothing was to much trouble to make our special visit relaxing.The staff were marvellous and the food was excellent we had two pie meals and the daughter had the sausage which were lovely I will be definitely be back when I’m in chesterfield again
My friends live in Chesterfield and so they brought me here for tea.
I went for the Cretan Voskopita (Green and Herbs Pie), some sort of stuffed bread drizzled with honey and Gluten Free Pita Bread. I didn’t make the best choices- there were more exciting things on the menu and my second and third dishes were very similar.
Service was friendly enough. I would like to go back and opt for something like octopus, though some of the items are dear!

As a coeliac it's brilliant to find somewhere that understands your needs properly, with good tasty food and value for money, will definitely be visiting again.
Great place and always busy. Staff find you a place as soon as they can and are always friendly.
The dirty fries are lovely and they have excellent gluten free options which they take extra care to provide.

Fantastic spot! Under new ownership and we had the best service we have had in Derbyshire for years - if not ever. Great food with a wide variety of options including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan - we will be back.
What a lovely spot. As veggies there is always lots on the menu here and they also understand Gluten intolerence too.

Brilliant people to talk to over the phone, very helpful and they make lovely and safe gluten free dishes, my wife loves the gluten free version of szechuan chicken and egg fried rice.
Awesome, absolutely awesome. Well done to the people that own it and cook the food. I cannot find a fault with anything and there aren't many Chinese places like this about now, the last one I remember being this good was in grassmoor in the 1990s.

We booked The Lockoford Inn for a wake. It was easy to book and arrange. The gentleman who we spoke to was friendly and courteous and on the day of our funeral (16th March) we were so thankful for the beautiful buffet we were given. The tea and coffee was a lovely touch. The effort that had obviously gone into the day was appreciated and we were especially impressed by the separate plates for the vegetarians and for my daughter who has coeliacs so cannot eat any gluten. They were such generous portions. The young lady who worked the bar was pleasant, friendly and capable, having no problem dealing with the large drinks orders. Even taking a family photo for us. The venue was perfect for our gathering and even though we had a 2 year old who frequently jogged off, the staff were very considerate and allowed him free run. Thank you for your respect and hard work on our day of mourning.

Decided to host a party of 24 here to celebrate 2 retirements and 2 special birthdays, everyone commented how delicious the food was. Extensive choice for our "gluten free" gentleman who said his meal was superb 👌 Outstanding service, staff were very friendly and efficient. Really nice atmosphere we have decided to definitely book here again for our next event.

My wife has a slight gluten intolerance and said so when the waitress asked about allergies. Stupid mistake. We then were barred from ordering on the app and the waitress wouldn’t relent when we insisted it was a mistake and we were hungry and please could we just order on the app, which would have been easier. All in all an evening nearly derailed by a weirdly dogmatic waitress.
Apart from that food was the same as usual.

Met friends for lunch everyone enjoyed their food, I had phoned the dat before to ask about gluten free, quite a lot to choose from but they went out and bought some gluten free bread specially really appreciated it.
This cafe is fab. Me and my daughter visit here every week and we're never disappointed. As my daughter is coeliac she has the gluten free option of a toastie. The ingredients and the combinations that they make are delicious. You always feel full and the quality is really good. The atmosphere is very nice and is generally busy and friendly. Prices are very realistic if you have the meal deals.
The staff here have always greeted us with a warm smile. The range of food here is great. Tasty breakfast to filling lunches and sweet treats available. Recommend booking if you deffo want to go here as it gets full quickly as they have a large base of regular customers. Gluten free and vegetarian options available.
Excellent little bistro with lovely homemade dishes. Latte also lush and pot of tea with a little milk urn was a nice touch. Good value, with gluten free options a bonus 🎀🌸🎀
Chicken vindaloo. Chicken balti, 2 portions of lemon rice, bhajis, tikka starter and chapatis. All of it absolutely lovely. We'll be back next weekend to pick another one up. You promised gluten free and you gave us gluten free apart from the chapatis which were mine. My wife Says it's great for coeliacs.
I can recommend the pork/chicken souvlaki, always with generous portions.
Service is great, I made a mistake ordering, I am on gluten free diet as recommended by my doctor. I am new to it and still forget things. They sorted my order out after I brought it to their attention which was lovely of them. Especially as I might have been frustrated but that was more so at myself and the fact I hadn't eat all day. Either way, thank you.
