I visited here last Friday so would be the 27/6/2025 with my partner and I can honestly say being the big foodie I am and always trying a wide variety of restaurants and fish and chip shops I can easily say this is the worst experience I have ever had at any. I started by arriving at 7pm from Manchester to papa’s fish and chips. When arriving I notified them that me and my partner are both gluten intolerant and ordered our food. We then waited for half an hour and our food arrived. As soon as the food arrived it didn’t take much to see that the fish was completed burnt and stone cold and the chips were stone cold too not even a bit of heat. I then informed the manager that there is a problem with the food and he took 20 minutes to come to the table. When arriving at the table he said to my partner ‘cheer up it’s not that bad’. He was very smug and arrogant and made us both feel very uncomfortable. Meanwhile 5 other couples entered the restaurant and were put before us. We remained at our table and we were left with nothing for another 45 minutes. Then after this we were informed that our food has just come out 5 minutes before but had been given to the wrong table so we had to wait again for another half an hour to get our own food which wasn’t much better but would have probably eaten grass by this point and still couldn’t eat it all it was so disappointing. On the bright side luckily I didn’t get a parking ticket because all the parking wardens must have gone home! DO NOT EAT HERE ! It’s a nightmare the service is terrible, the food is cold and even the gluten free food contains gluten as both me and my partner vomited after this ( which is what happens when we eat gluten). This tells you that this place cannot be adhering to Hygiene regulations!! Give this place a miss !
We visited for (my) first time on Saturday and I must say that we were very impressed with the experience. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I haven't visited an eating establishment in a long time where I have been impressed with the service given! The team are a credit to Bella Italia.
The food was delicious and there were plenty of choice for my partner who has a gluten intolerance, he was very impressed with the food served to him.
We were very happy with our experience and will be returning.
Outstanding service from David who impressively remembered all our names in a party of 16+! He was charming, organised, and incredibly helpful - especially when we needed takeaway desserts for a quick exit with our tired little one.
Special mention to chef Riccardo whose culinary skills are exceptional - every dish was absolutely divine, perfectly catering to our dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian needs. Fantastic team!

Brilliant staff, asked for recommendations and the waiter clearly knew what he was talking about. Made some excellent recommendations. Good food allergy information and good awareness of gluten free requirements. Best atmosphere in a restaurant I've been in for a long time. Thank you for a good night, will be back.
We came in on the off chance they wld do GF as 4 other restaurants we tried didn't. Thank goodness we did, we visited it a few times over Easter weekend. 1 because I'm celiac, 2 because my nephew is autistic, 3 because my brother is disabled and it ticked all the boxes, the fact that the food was amazing was an added bonus. Staff were so clued up on celiac that even the head chef came out and spoke to me about precautions they take in the kitchen. Really couldn't find a fault with this place. It has an American old time feel to it and was absolutely outstanding. Thanks for having us xx
I am sooooooo impressed with nando's. The staff were fantastic and they took my gluten free needs very seriously. Only the manager would serve me due to my dietaries and I felt very safe and taken care of. Thank you, Nando's! I appreciate your care and attention to dietaries.
What a great little find this cafe was, the breakfast was scrumptious and if there was something on the breakfast you didn't want they were happy to change it for something of your choice, the staff were lovely and very attentive, wheelchair friendly entrance, highly recommend this place and I'll certainly go again a great find, also they do a great selection of gluten free food, dairy free cheese and dairy free coffee and tea
Excellent food and great service. Everything on the menu can be made gluten free and appeared coeliac safe. The only very small thing that could be improved is the restaurant seating layout, which was quite cramped and would be difficult to move around in for some people.

Fantastic restaurant, reasonably priced and great tasting food. Quick service and friendly staff. Gluten Free friendly, with several gluten free options.
Amazing. Went for my friend's birthday dinner. Lovely staff, we were served by Salvadoré who was so lovely and told us all about his kids and recommended some amazing dishes to us. Felt like an authentic Italian place. Great ambiance and planning to go back again!

Gluten free had separate menu and discussed my options with lovely member of staff. My food was cooked separately and served to me.
Other members of my group had chance to go and pick there own.
Plenty of options as with the traditional breakfast you also have access to the continental breakfast which includes yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, fruit juices and coffee/tea which I took advantage of.
I couldn’t sample the pancakes, croissants etc but there was gluten free toast available with my cooked breakfast.
Bonus kids eat free.

Best cafe ever been to. Gluten and diary free options at reasonable prices. Excellent service even on busy days. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean seating area's inside and outside. We'll worth a visit.
Great food at a great price. Nice choice of gluten free options and homemade soup of the day is fabulous and usually gluten free. GF not on the menu but the counter staff will consult with the kitchen to confirm that what you want is actually GF. A great art deco ambiance amongst the hustle and bustle of a well used and popular park cafe. Love it
Amazing place, amazing food, especially if you are gluten free and really reasonable. Also don't leave without trying a few of the cocktails-equally amazing!!
We had a lovely meal here last night Chloe and her team did a fantasic job. I often feel limited as I am Gluten free. Recently more options have been added to the menu here. I had a lovely GF garlic bread with pate and then GF lasagne. Jam packed with flavour it was really lovely and tasty. Service is fantastic and staff are always really lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend. Thank you 😊

Abingdon Street is always a great vibe for us and accompanied with a couple of drinks at Nomad.
Made our order from the app and unfortunately for me I'm a fussy eater (coeliac gluten free requirements). Followed the given menu which needs some updates to be clear on ingredients used.
Host brought our food over and explained it was 'made as ordered'. This included crispy onions as an extra, that were not listed as containing gluten (for newcomers it can be tricky to navigate). Having ordered from the GF option burger and asked for GF bun, it would seem apparent adding gluten to this order was a no no.
Went to the counter with my food and was offered a fresh burger without the additional crispy onion.
Team explained in future for GF orders to ask at the kitchen to ensure an ingredients check could be agreed.
Thanked the team for their help, and really appreciated the great food.
I know it can be awkward, but other parts of the menu cover this, so please ensure all ingredients are explained. Would it be permissable with other allergies, and your business promotes supporting GF options.
After a fantastic day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, we visited Le Sorelle for an evening meal. We received a warm welcome from the staff and the food was delicious. As I have coeliac disease, they made my meal with gluten-free pasta and it was perfect.
We will definitely be returning next time we visit Blackpool!
We were told they do gluten free food, when we arrived we were told the only thing they have thats gluten free is plain salad, they were stand ofish and made us feel unwelcome we walked out and went elsewhere would definitely not recommend and will not be back!
Gary the chef went above and beyond to cater for our needs as my son has a wheat allergy and the chef made him a gluten free pizza also putting my mind at ease that it would be prepared in a controlled environment to avoid contact with other foods.

Very nice place, with lots of gluten free options. The staff was lovely, we came on a week night and it was calm and quiet. Loved the music. However, the price was quiet €€€.
This is an exceptional restaurant, the food is wonderful and the staff are the friendliest people who can't do enough for their guests. We had a lovely birthday celebration there, 2 members of our party are coeliac, both say this was the best gluten free experience they have ever had. There was hardly any menu restrictions and the team cleaned down the kitchen completely to cater for us. Absolutely wonderful experience, if there was a 10 star option they'd get it. We will most certainly be back. Thank you.

The owner is lovely and super helpful, especially with gluten-free options—the brownie and carrot cake were the best I’ve had in ages (I've been GF for 5 yrs). It’s such a relief to enjoy bakery treats like everyone else. Both he and the young woman behind the bar helped me choose a 50/50 ground coffee blend, which turned out to be some of the best coffee I’ve had! The café can get busy since it’s in the market, but the vibe and service are always 10/10. Highly recommend!
My Grandson loves the little hot chocolate and I have to say I enjoy the adult version😋 Goog range of eats too including a good selection of gluten free.
A splendid establishment, excellent ales, wonderful staff, and an ever increasing selection of gluten-free cask and bottled ales. It is now my go-to watering hole.

Not a chance I will ever order from you again. 6 days from ordering a gluten free pizza and I’m still suffering from what was obviously not a gluten free pizza. I am really gluten intolerant, a little bit of gluten makes my stomach hurt, that pizza had far more than a little bit of gluten, my symptoms have been far more serious than my stomach hurting. Either teach your staff to handle gluten free safely or don’t offer it.
Karen was a very welcoming snd hardworking landlady , the food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced . Gluten free menu also available.
I really don't like to add a negative but (and this no reflection on the pub itself) we were really looking forward to the live band which we were expecting to be on around 8pm. We didn't leave till 9.15pm and they still hadnt started their set - disappointing. That said we would definitely recommend and will return. Thankyou Karen for your hospitality.
