Arranged a family gathering for 10 people, one is Celiac. The waiter came out with a full gluten free menu which when asked questions about knew the answer. The menu also has a nice touch of a small appetite version of many of the dishes. All the plates were empty after everyone had eaten. The service was very good and not at all pushy. Would highly recommend this for a very nice pub meal.
Love the lounge wherever they are! Great for me as I’m gluten free. I get a dedicated GF menu! Plus there’s vegan & regular food to cater for everyone!
Great experience- dog friendly and catering for what looked like all dietary needs.
Staff friendly
Gluten free has its own separate menu on request at the bar which is very comprehensive. They mark up the dishes as GF when serving so no mix ups. Pictures attached show the gf burger looks (and tasted) great with no difference to main menu.
Fantastic and thank you!
Being Gluten Free always enjoyed visiting Cote restaurants but shocked when handed a I pad to check menu options this is
something that used to happen in early days of GF, gone backwards cannot understand why.
Very disappointing.
Really nice and helpful staff, good & knowledgeable about dietary requirements, gluten/dairy free etc, prices are reasonable for portions too, would highly recommend the lounge breakfast

Absolutely sublime experience eating at Pho tonight.
Ivy was our waiter and she looked after us beautifully. She was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and gluten free options.
Pho is Coeliac accredited and the choice of foods were immense.
Nothing was too much trouble and the food, service and atmosphere couldn’t be faulted.
Will definitely revisit.

They charged me £13.85 for a gluten-free cod (standard), on it's own, no chips. So overpriced it's ridiculous. On deliveroo they put chips in all the pictures to think you're getting chips with them, but you don't! Avoid. Will never go back.
Fast and polite service from Oliver, pizza was amazing and the banana blossom was a brilliant gluten free and veggie alternative! Would love to come again!

We’re gluten free - We came down on a visit to Bournemouth and saw the reviews. The GF bases on the Pizzas were big and tasty pizzas were great as was the service. Would definitely come again.
Called them up to enquire about gluten free options. The chap was knowledgeable and friendly. The food took a while to come via Deliveroo but the app kept us informed. My Mum enjoyed her gluten free Chicken shish and salad. My partner said her prawn dish was tasty and I enjoyed my roast vegetables with beef and lamb kofka. Those three dishes cost £48 so not the cheapest but decent sized portions and all delicious.
Fantastic food and exceptional service by Emily! Very friendly and showed excellent product knowledge and was able to answer questions immediately. All the dishes were correct (table of 11) and really good gluten free options, separate fryers. 10/10 would recommend
Absolutely amazing and the best choice for a birthday meal !!
Waitress Kasia was very attentive and friendly. Very professional and pays big attention to my intolerance of gluten.
5 stars all round !!
Love the Commodore for food with friends. Lisa and Charlie are so friendly and kind. Very welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent. Have to say I’m so pleased you now do gluten free chips in a designated fryer.
Great place to have breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack overlooking the cliffs and ocean! Had plenty of gluten free options including bread to enjoy a delicious sandwich.
Is this the best cafe/bar in Bournemouth?
Although we were staying in a hotel that does a very nice breakfast,we prefer to eat later without getting up too early.
Just a short walk through town and up to the Triangle.
The interior is bright and possibly a little camp.
Think pink & neon and maybe a flamingo lurking somewhere with a bit a glam.
There's wooden table's & chairs, as well as comfy sofas to sink into.
It's a very friendly and welcoming space.
You can just have a coffee,or choose from an array of freshly prepared food.
Whatever side of the fence you are, gluten free, veggie, vegan, they cater to all tastes.
But we're not any of those.
An all day breakfast is what we are craving.
As you enter, find an available seat to settle into and place your order at the counter.
This can be difficult at times,as it's a very sort after spot.
The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and arrives at the table in no-time.
The highlight has got to be the very tasty sausages. At £9.25,it's quite good value.
In fact all their prices are very reasonable for the quality and service.
In the evening they have different events as well.
Our only problem is,when we bring our boys, that's doggies. We can't get out of the place.
As so many people want to say hello to them.
This is truly the friendliest and best cafe in Bournemouth where everyone is welcome.
Oh,and our boys love all the attention.
Prezzo offers a modern and stylish setting, with a neutral palette of greys and earthy tones creating a calm and contemporary atmosphere. It’s an inviting space, but when it comes to the food, I expected a bit more.
We ordered a gluten-free pasta and a Margherita pizza, both of which were decent but unremarkable—the kind of dishes you could find just about anywhere. For a brand like Prezzo, I anticipated a higher level of quality and flavour, but the execution felt standard rather than special.
That said, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience. While the food didn’t impress, the service certainly did.
Went there for lunch a few weeks ago and was advised by staff on what I could and couldn't have, as I'm gluten free (coeliac). Portions are huge and whilst I wasn't mind-blown by the food, it was okay and I didn't have any reactions to it!
Genuinely the best burgers I have ever had, along with the most banging shakes. The one with peanut butter and bourbon is to die for.
I am particularly enthused by their gluten free buns and good detailing of allergens.
They also have a brilliant lunch deal :)
Would very much recommend!!
I had a wonderful dining experience, thanks to Harriet, our waitress. She was incredibly attentive and made sure to double-check that my meal was completely gluten-free, which I truly appreciated. Her care and attention to detail made me feel at ease and able to enjoy my meal without worry. Harriet’s friendly demeanor and professionalism really stood out, and I highly recommend her for anyone who values excellent service. Thank you, Harriet, for going the extra mile!
Superb pub with extremely attractive, decorative green style frontage and colourful floral baskets. Looked very inviting - anywhere that doesn't have faded plastic efforts oozing and burgeoning out of pots is always a very good sign. Excellent choice of muso playing from the Travelling Wilburys to the Beatles, from Fleetwood Mac to Cat Stevens. Dog friendly pub. Live music. Menu proffering homemade food. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. Has sheltered outdoor seating area to the rear of the pub which is colourful and well designed. Very large range of handpulled cask beers. When I visited, they had the lovely drop that is Adnam's Ghost Ship on, along with Butcombe Brewing Co's Original Beer, Butcombe's Adam Henson's Rare Breed Pale Ale, Butcombe's Gold Golden Ale, Otter Ale, Liberation Brewing Co's Ale Golden Beer, Liberation's IPA, Liberation's Herm Gold Blonde Beer and Dartmoor Brewery's Jail Ale. Highly recommended pub.
This establishment offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring delicious cuisine and thoughtfully prepared gluten-free options. The service was exemplary, deserving of a five-star rating. A particular commendation is extended to Valerio, who provided exceptional assistance with the menu and enriched the dining experience with engaging insights into Italian traditions, while also showing genuine interest in my own cultural background. His attentive and proactive service ensured a thoroughly enjoyable meal. I anticipate returning in the near future.
I've ordered twice now as a coeliac and they've always been able to accommodate for my gluten free request. They do advise that they cannot guarantee that it's 100% safe but they take precautions, so I took the risk and never had any problems. Not fantastic pizza in my opinion but I don't tend to be amazed by pizza in general, so take my comment with a pinch of salt. My partner loved his though (non gluten free)!
££ but the taste of the food exceeded the expectations. I have never ate such tasty hummus, dolma, grilled meet and... you will not believe... rice. My gluten-free rice was made in a very special way. Some spices were added, and I have never eaten it so delicious. One part of the grill was the liver, which is very difficult to make soft. But this one was just melting in the mouth. Exceptional. Chef knows what he does. And people running it are some of the most heartwarming people ever. Go there, try the taste, and sit for experience. If I could, I would give 6 starts.
I came here a few days ago for lunch and I highly recommend it! the gluten free dough balls and pasta are delicious, and my waitress (I think her name was dilia) was amazing, so helpful with recommendations and very sweet :) she made our experience even more enjoyable
I had high expectations after reading multiple positive reviews, so I was disappointed not to be able to give 5 stars.
The gluten free menu only works if you don't have other intolerances and like halloumi and spinach.
I ended up building my own breakfast.
2 rashers of bacon
1 poached egg
2 halves of tomato
1 portion baked beans (looked like 1/2 portion)
1 slice gluten-free bread (toasted)
How much do you think that ought to cost?
Now, I know I'm a Yorkshire lass and this cafe is in Bournemouth, but £8.50... that's a bit steep and worthy of an "'Ow much?"
Everything about the Olive Cafe is distinctly average. For me personally, charging prices like £8.50 for a barely there breakfast is a bit cheeky. Either improve the quality and portion size or reduce the amount you charge.
Incredible tasty authentic Mexican food, this is the best place to go if you’re craving a Mexican, stuff super friendly and helpful too! Everything can also be gluten free pretty much and it’s so nice to go somewhere where you don’t have to worry.
Had two great dinners here during my staff in Southbourne. While you end up having a lot of dishes, the food was tasty and locally sourced which I loved. Most of the menu was also gluten free, or able to be adapted, which meant I had plenty to choose from! Service was also great and friendly and gave lots of recommendations for the area
Popped in today for the first time as often mentioned on Facebook about how good it is.
As I'm gluten free I often struggle to find places I can eat normal food rather than limited choices so emailed Dave ahead to check. Replied straight back and even offered to make a gf brownie to satisfy my sweet tooth! How accommodating!
Food was excellent, fresh and hot.
Brownie was Amazing! Let me know when you do it again can I buy some to bring home !!
Thank you and will definitely be added to my list of places to head back too!

Great Thai, with an extensive menu and lots of options for gluten free as well. It's not the cheapest, but I think it's worth the money. The atmosphere is good, and the service was quick. Love the little booths and music was decent too. Good date venue too.
10 of us and 2 dogs went for lunch having prebooked. Table arranged so that we were not or did nor disturb others!
Very friendly and attentive staff both on booking and during the meal. Food well cooked and generous portions catering for vegetarian and gluten fee requirements as well as an age range of 15 to 80.
Great views
We will return. Many thanks
