Walked in with no notice to feed 30 guys working at VIR. Prepped a huge order quickly including one special order Gluten Free - wiped the whole place down. Top marks on care, concern, thoroughness, quality, friendliness - very happy crew as a result of the performance of this store and Eli the manager. THANK YOU!
Owner Steve went out of his way to welcome my son and I, in town for a college visit. He stayed open late to feed two road weary travelers and the food and wine selection were on point. We loved it so much we came back for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Bonus points for gluten free options, and the build out is gorgeous.
Very nice local Italian restaurant and pizzeria.
We had the...
Meat Lasagna - excellent sauce and plenty of cheese!
Gluten Free Anchovie Pizza - the wife loved it, sauce was good, and again, plenty of cheese
Spaghetti Carbonara - an excellent rich sauce and plenty of ham bits!
The host was happy to greet us and seat us. Ms Brandy, our waitress, was top notch - attentive and knew the menu (she made the recommendation for the Carbonara!).
We were just passing through, and glad we stopped.

While Outback does have a gluten friendly menu this Outback location doesn’t seem to take proper precautions for celiac. My meal was brought out with everyone’s and the waitress touched a plate with pasta prior to handling my food.
We are from out of town and went to one coffee shop and the experience was terrible. When we stumbled upon Links, we were SO grateful! Coffee is fantastic, food was good (they had Gluten Free wraps which is a huge bonus for me personally.)
If I ever get sucked back into the armpit that is Danville, we will DEFINITELY be back to this hidden gem.
The food was good, but it's very loud in there, so it was hard to visit with a group of people. They have some gluten free options. I had a gf pizza, which was quite good.
Old 97 Tavrrn has a wonderful atmosphere with its exposed bricks. I really liked the build your own burger option, and I could get gluten free, definitely a plus for me.
A decent spot to grab a drink while we waited for the breweries to open. They didn't have any gluten free food options that we could discern though, so we didn't stay for longer than one drink. Nice outdoor patio to watch the comings and goings. Pet friendly on their patio also. They even brought out a dog bowl of chilled water for our pup, which was a nice touch.
The food here is fantastic! And gluten free! They even have gluten free buns and a salad that you can add smoked chicken to for a healthy option. The counter service is quick, courteous and helpful. Nice ambience, too. A very nice spot to stop for lunch or to take food home for dinner, too!
Unfortunately our order didn't have the right nuggets. We received breaded and ordered grilled. One of us has a gluten allergy. We also received no dressing for either of our salads. We tried to call to get this fixed and after many attempts to call, noone ever answered. This was the worst experience that I've ever had a chick-fil-a.
We stopped here on hour four of a long drive and were seated very quickly - especially for a Saturday night. The atmosphere was great and the gluten free tacos were amazing (highly recommend the Baja shrimp). My only qualms were that the bathroom could’ve been cleaner and I didn’t care for my drink - although that could just be personal preference.
Amazing place! Quick service, tasty foods, all kinds of ice cream and coffee options! They even have gluten free and low carb options, a little something for everyone!
