I found Gourmandise while searching for a gluten free bakery in downtown Salt Lake City. To my pleasant surprise, they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although they aren't a dedicated gluten free facility and there is risk of cross contamination, the waitress took the time to confirm that my food choices would not contain gluten, soy, or beef. I had the grilled salmon and it was delicious! The buerre blanc sauce was silky smooth and had just the right blend of flavors. For dessert, there were several gluten free options and I selected the flourless chocolate cake. It was very rich and satisfied my sweet tooth! I'll likely try an additional dessert or two before I leave town. I would definitely eat here again!

We came for our 5th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Roberto was our waiter and was very attentive and helpful when we inquired about the gluten free dessert options. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place with lots of gluten free food.

I love the immersive decor. The food was wonderfully presented. I’ve eaten many tostadas in town. This was my second favorite. Tortillas were beautiful and tasty. The nice lady who took my order understood what was gluten free. The enchilada green sauce was delicious. Some possible improvements were noted. Tamales were mid. The salsa bar was pretty lack-luster. The pork (carnitas) was a little dry.

A cute, quaint cafe with delicious food and drinks. Tons of gluten free and vegan options. Give yourself plenty of time, if there's a line it can take a while but it's well worth the wait! Do yourself a favor and get a slice of cake!
