Game here for the gluten free options, which are perfect for my daughter that has to have gluten free. This place is deep in the neighborhood area of Mesquite, but I found that service was good, burgers were fine, and the parking was easy. One of the flavors of drinks were out on my visit, and the menu's have become a little tattered from age and use, but no big deal. Be warned here that sides do not come with adult burgers, so plan on spending $12-$15 per person, or so. Not bad, but more pricy than most similar options in this area.

I usually don’t bother to leave anything but good reviews but since this is a local restaurant I feel obligated to save a neighbor some energy so they can make a well-informed choice. By looking at the reviews, we were excited that a better option was just a few minutes down the road. We were disappointed. We ordered a large combo pizza and the crust was cardboard like, reminiscent of gluten-free (not sure if it was- there WAS a GF option on the menu but we didn’t ask for this) and it was so filling as to be bloating- I had only one slice, my husband had only 2.. we were stuffed. Sadly, Dominos even has vastly better crust. The toppings were generous and fresh so that’s a plus, but we all know the crust carries the Vibe. The salad was fresh and we shared it- we were given 1 small container of dressing and needed one more to adequately cover. It gets 4 stars for freshness. The most vexing aspect for me, though was the hip hop music on the TV (sports on the other screen. Turned all the way down- would have been a much better option considering there was a young child (2-3yo) eating with her parents. Most disturbing was the fact that the F Bombs were flying but no one seemed to notice and neither mom, nor dad asked that the channel to be changed!! Maybe it’s just me? A return visit isn’t in the plans and we will fall back to driving 30 minutes for the best pizza we have found outside of NYC: A real Italian pizza oven crust that brings tears to one’s eyes AND for much less cost! We feel like we have been unfaithful and deserving of a wasted $47. Proximity isn’t always the goal.

I'm the friend Sniff the Raven discusses in his review. My friends wanted sandwiches for a late dinner. We checked their site, they had a Gluten Free menu. When I placed my order, I deliberately asked if they had gluten-free bread and could substitute it in the muffuletta. I was told they did. So I placed my order. I declined my receipt, it's usually a waste of paper and I just have to throw it away later. I joined my friends at the table and waited. And waited. My friends, knowing I have health problems, began to ask on my behalf. We waited some more. My friends finished their meal. And we waited. Turned out, they packed my order as delivery and sent it off with a delivery driver. Since I don't have my receipt, they apparently had no record of my order and can only offer me a gift card. Fine. I reorder, stressing once again that I NEED GLUTEN FREE. I have Celiac Disease, though I can usually handle a little cross-contamination. The order came out and the manager is trying to offer me a free strawberry cheesecake, which is not gluten-free according to the menu. (Despite there being stickers on my meal regarding dietary restrictions and warning of cross-contamination) The ham muffuletta wasn't great and the tomato basil soup disturbingly sweet. However, I was famished, so I ate. Big mistake. We left about 10pm and I got to spend the rest of my night violently sick from my body's immune response to gluten. My friends assured me that Jason's Deli is excellent, but I really can't trust this restaurant or chain now. I don't know if it was the Karen I heard freaking out over eggs and they took it out on me or if they thought I was being one. I gave the gift card to my friends. It'll be years before I can purge the memory of the gluten reaction and ultimately throwing up that muffuletta and tomato basil soup after it sat in my stomach since 10pm.
