I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of gluten-free options available at this place. They had delicious brownies, cookies, and even a cinnamon bun! The coffee was also really good. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Used to LOVE Roberto's. Used to be Five Stars for me. USED TO. PAST TENSE. Started frequenting Roberto's back in the beginning of September 2017. I'd been smitten with their gluten-free pizza ever since the first time I had it; sometimes I'd order two in a row, and eat both of them there. I was basically there ONCE EVERY WEEK, until mid-March of 2020. So, once-a-week for almost two-and-a-half years. You COULDN'T GET a better pizza than Roberto's, NOT even within a 300 mile radius of the place; not in the rest of Brunswick, or any of the neighboring counties. They were the best. Always sat at the bar counter; had the best atmosphere in the place. Their bartenders were always on top of things. Usually had the same bartendress; she was a nice ol' gal, but I don't think she even works there anymore. Roberto's doesn't make pizza anymore, not least of which, their gluten-free pizza, and they haven’t since mid-March of 2020. Ever since I first started frequenting the place, I'd been trying to convince my parents to let me take them there. They love Italian. Finally got them to try the place for the first time in the Autumn of 2019, and...they described their food as "cold" and "rancid," and the serving staff wasn't very attentive or accommodating with us, either; it was difficult just getting their attention to keep our water topped off, and they weren’t incredibly apologetic when my parents told them their food didn’t turn out well...and, again, this was BEFORE March of 2020, and it’s not like they were incredibly busy that night. I never could get them to try the place again. ... Their bar counter area is nice, isn't it?...but I don't have any reason to be there anymore...

Found this restaurant on “Find Me Gluten Free” app as we looked for dinner around Ocean Isle Beach. Reviews were mixed but we decided to take a look — we ordered to go since we were arriving 30-minutes before closing. My review focuses on the gluten-free offerings at the restaurant as that is what led me to the establishment. The GF pizza was fine — average thin crust that is chewy in the middle where all the toppings are and super crunchy on the edge where there is nothing but crust. Staff didn’t seem knowledgeable about the menu, but reassured me it was gluten free. I did not have a reaction — but probably not the pizza I would say is worth the potential cross contamination in the future. Restaurant overall is lovely and does have a lot of GF options (except for dessert). My friend who had a regular cheese pizza said it was delicious — the crust looked delicious. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting, but I would not say it is worth the outing if GF pizza is your sole reason for visiting.
