Went there as a kid and decided to revisit the place as an adult. Went for my 9th birthday and my 31st. Revisiting this place as an adult was sort of like trying to crawl back into a bouncy castle but this time as an adult. I remembered it being bigger and much more impressive but the point is that it left such an impression on little me that I remembered it 20+ years. This place is unique and fun. It's got a groovy, quirky atmosphere and feels like it should be featured on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. There's a bar and grill, as promised by the name. I spent most of my time checking out the decor and only a little bit of time playing the games. We went on a Saturday and it was fairly crowded with the traditional 9 year old birthdays. The food was adequate. My build your own pizza was better than my partner's rather bland Mac and Cheese pizza offering. And the "Alien Ears" (powdered sugar desert) were a fun and special little surprise that I'm glad we indulged in. I was surprised to see gluten free offerings on the menu. The games are your typical arcade offerings. I didn't feel particularly scammed by any of them. I know what arcade games are and they did have some skill games that were more focused on offering a fun experience rather than the thrill of realizing a claw machine is rigged. Staff was amazingly helpful, upbeat and chipper. They seemed to genuinely care when I had an issue getting quarters for the machines in the lobby, separate from the arcade. Overall, if you never miss your local county fair when it comes to town or are a frequent guest at the State Fair and you don't mind an "out of this world" paint job over the same vibes, this should help tide you over even in the dead of winter until you and your family can get back on those tea cup rides.

I'll start off with I hate writing reviews like this. I love supporting small businesses and I have been a bartender/server for 13 years now. We had a previous experience here that was amazing and we were really looking forward to coming back! We arrived at 1:08pm on Sunday and my husband went in to request a patio table and let the staff know that we had our dog with. They told us pets were not allowed on their patio. We respected that and decided that we would park next to the patio and sit at a table closest to our car so our dog was near us and we could make sure he was comfortable. We planned to be quick, anyway, as they close at 2pm. I went back in to meet the rest of our party while my husband waited in the car with our dog and toddler. I immediately noticed the hostility, I wasn't greeted..in fact they were all (3 employees) acting like they didn't see me walk in. We asked to be seated on the patio and they said "The bees are bad, you don't want to sit out there" I explained that we wanted to be out there to keep an eye on our dog and they said again "The bees are really bad" I could tell they didn't want us out on the patio, let alone even at the restaurant at all. There was no hospitality, not even a smile. Our server was kind and made our experience a little better. We only saw one bee before our food arrived. We were not bothered by bees at all after that. The food was amazing, although, mine was messed up. I would usually have no problem politely bringing it up, however with the hostility we had already recieved and out of respect that the kitchen would soon be closing, I said nothing and didn't eat much. Now for the reason I'm truly upset. My husband has a gluten allergy. He ordered gluten free bread and explained his allergy. He had a gluten attack after eating here. It wasn't from anything else as I made breakfast and dinner at home and we don't have gluten in our household. I'm so understanding when mistakes are made in the restaurant industry but I can't understand this one. We made it clear. Everytime I have had a customer with any allergy, it is clearly rang up in capital letters for the kitchen to see. Then I go talk to them about it to make absolutely sure they do not overlook it. I can't say why this mistake was made or say that it was or wasn't intentional but one thing I would reccomended for sure, is to not go to this restaurant around 1pm on a Sunday. They don't want you there.

Ordered a salad because I have celiac, and they put a giant piece of bread on top of the salad. That made me incredibly sick. The staff was not friendly, and was rude and short with myself and the other customers.

I had an amazing experience! I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and rarely go out due to cross contamination and an overall misunderstanding of the disease. I mentioned to the staff that I needed a new salad because the one I had was made with croutons. The (I'm assuming) Manager on duty announced to his staff to remake the salad without croutons and the safety protocols required. They were so kind. Not always the case when you need these kind of accommodations. I was blown away! Eating out with this disease is often very stressful, so I cannot thank this team enough for being so kind and accommodating!

Always love this place , great food with lots of flavor. 2 for 1 drink specials alot. Sometimes short staffed but they are still good about it. Have gluten intolerant t options
