The ambience there is wonderful! Attention to detail is quite amazing with the building and the decor. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. There are gluten-free options for those who need it and they are sensitive to people's allergies. The food is very good as well. My husband and I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, gluten free and regular. The creme brulee was very good! The manager or owner was walking around checking in with everybody except us for some reason. I will come back again because I enjoyed my dinner and it was in a neat location!

Wonderful! I ordered breakfast for my roommate and I and ended up ordered another breakfast for myself. I went to pick up the order and they told me they had gluten free French toas. I had to have it! It was so good, it didn't make it home. They gave me enough whip cream to drown my sorrows! 10/10, very affordable, will be visiting again! Somewhat hidden by a Marathon gas station on the corner, you'll find this gem. The restaurant offers a variety of dining seating from high tops near the bar, tables and both inside, to a spacious covered outdoor bar area with table seating.
They offer a wide range of food from salads to burgers to BBQ. I highly recommend the olive burger (a great tasting gluten free bun is offered). The macaroni and cheese, which you can get as a side or entree, was cheesy with a fantastic crust of cheese on top.
Whether you live local or are visiting the West Coast of Michigan I highly recommend including this restaurant in your plans.

I love Bit of Swiss and haven't been there in 3 month since I was told I needed a gluten-free diet, but, on my birthday, I broke that in order to eat a cinnamon bun that was crisp on the outside and deliciously soft and chewy inside. Oh, bread! Oh, pastry and pies. I saw all of these delectables displayed so nicely. I had excellent service. I gave it three for the atmosphere only because there is no inside seating. There is a little out front, and you can walk to the back and sit near the Chef's Garden that is rich with herbs.
