You have to try this BBQ! I drove through Waycross with my family and found Hog-N-Bones. They have a gluten free menu with a ton of options. They have the juiciest chicken I've ever had. The sweet BBQ sauce and ranch are delicious with the meat and fries. Cole slaw is sweet and creamy just like I love it. Potato salad is also amazing. I wish I lived here so I could eat it everyday. Maceyla was attentive and polite. Everyone was actually! And to top it all of, the bathrooms are super clean.
This spot caters thoughtfully to gluten-free diners by offering gluten-free buns for subs, allowing those with dietary restrictions to enjoy their flavorful sandwiches like the popular Hook and Ladder. The fresh bread alternatives maintain satisfying texture and taste, ensuring the experience remains enjoyable despite the bread swap. The clean, well-lit dining area complements the meal, making it a comfortable choice for those seeking gluten-free sandwich options without compromising on flavor.

I always order the Hook and Ladder... it's sooo good. I switched the normal sub roll out and chose the gluten-free. I could tell something was a bit different, but it was still very good!
This vibrant spot stands out for its excellent gluten-free options, featuring a thin cauliflower crust that closely resembles the regular hand-tossed style. The menu's diversity caters well to gluten-intolerant guests, offering flavorful pizzas that maintain the same tasty stuffed crust experience. The lively atmosphere, enhanced by colorful decor and nostalgic touches, makes it a welcoming place for those seeking gluten-free dining without compromise on flavor or ambiance.

I was visiting town and found them on Google Maps. Ordered delivery on their website and it was easy to navigate menu and order . Great delivery guy . Excellent pizza on a great cauliflower crust for the Jeri and gluten free crowd . I got some mild wings that had just a little bit of heat like they should have . I say price was average and I see they have specials . Better than a chain pizza place
Gluten-free friendly salad bar stands out as a highlight in this inviting restaurant, offering a safe and enjoyable option for those with dietary needs. The pleasant atmosphere and relaxed dining experience are enhanced by a warm, laughing personality that makes meals more enjoyable, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well-catered to.
This spot offers a fresh, made-to-order menu with scratch-made corn tortillas, though they contain gluten, highlighting the care in traditional preparation. The homemade charm and authentic decor create a cozy atmosphere, but those with gluten intolerance should note that gluten-free options require advance notice. The fresh salsa made tableside adds a vibrant, authentic touch, enhancing the sensory experience for those seeking gluten-conscious dining in a welcoming setting.

This place is 5 stars for waycross. The decor is obviously homemade, but it's clean and nice. We're from a large city and we've lived here for almost 4 years. We have had to travel to large cities just to get salsa that isn't bland because nothing in waycross is any good. The Mexican trailer is good for more authentic Mexican tacos, but this place will make them for you, and the make their salsa FRESH at the table and it's AMAZING!! THE BEST SALSA I'VE EVER HAD! The quantities change depend on who makes it for you and the flavor will vary as well. We had a family of 5 and had less than the table of 2 across from us. As much as i love the salsa, I would be happy if they made it in back in large quantities and gave a little more at the table. The tortillas are made from scratch and to order.... all of the food is. Beware because the "corn" tortillas are amazing... because they have gluten in them. We've been here 4 times since they opened.
Opening night was a mess so we left. They've had staffing issues with covid. We noticed that we weren't acknowledged waiting in the foyer one of the times we went, but since they have upped their game. Our first server was great, but I don't think the staff is knowledgeable about ingredients in the food because when I warned him of my gluten intolerance he gave me the corn tortillas. I knew from the smell, taste, and texture that they were too good to be true.
One of the servers is the daughter of the owner and cook and she went above and beyond to find out what was in the corn tortillas and to ask if I could get them made without gluten in them.... which they will do if you call and ask about 20 minutes ahead of walking in. I'm planning on ordering them togo to use at home. I don't think this place, or any other in town, would be good for anyone with celiac or food allergies... if you want to attempt it with food intolerances I would go during non peak hours so they have time to accommodate.
I will say that some of the food is more tex mex, and they have some interesting things most small town people aren't used to seeing, but they will accommodate and the SALSA is so worth it. Mexican trailer was our go to place in waycross, but it has become run down, dirty, and service is never great. We probably won't go back to Mexican trailer. The prices are comparable to what one would pay for quality, to order, from scratch food. We don't mind paying more for better food, cleaner and nicer environment, and better service.
